Wren Kitchens - My Review

Socrates - why don't you stop trolling and actually answer my question?
I did a google search for Wren Kitchens to find their phone number, and this thread was the second link that came up - no need to trawel through 'billions' of web pages.
I know that they have returned to the UK market as before I commit to spending a lot of money, I always want to know a bit about who I am dealing with, so asked about their history, rather than reading rubbish posted by trolls who have no actual experience.
For someone who was suppsedly the wisest man in the western universe, you really do come up with some ****.
I think the extreme you are defending them to speak volumes I will bow out now and let others make up their minds0 -
Here is my current experience with Wren.
Ordered kitchen through Dundee store, my salesman was great . Arrived on date expected. On checking delivery,,,,,,,,
Problem 1: Pull out larder well just pulled out and fell to the floor as it was cracked inside. Phone call to salesman, re-ordered with no problem but another 10 day wait.
Problem 2: Overflow waste missing from packaging (another phonecall to salesman, re-ordered with no problems.... 10 day wait)
Problem 3: One panel bowed badly... again re-ordered with no issue.
Kitchen installed by my own fitter looking good and then I came to peel the protective film from the doors oh my goodness the quality of the edging finish was appalling. Phone call to salesman, please come out and look at this which he did. We went round all the other doors inspecting the finish and 7 doors and two decor panels were flagged as needing replaced (the salesman was truly embarrassed by the number of poor quality doors/drawer finishes). There were chips out of them and the edging just looked ragged, a definite manufacturing issue.
Re-ordered and asked for strict Quality control before delivery. Arrived minus end decor panels and one of the apparently quality controlled doors was faulty.
Now livid phone call to MD Armando and he promised he would sort out my issues which so far to be fair he has attempted as I received a call from their regional manager within 15 minutes and the panels were ordered (albeit it took another 2 days to receive them).
I could continue with other minor niggles, so I have very mixed feelings about Wren. The staff I have dealt with on the whole have tried to resolve my problems, without any grumbles, but it has taken time, much stress and turned what should have been an enjoyable experience into a nightmare.
Mr Sanchez you have an issue with elements of your manufacturing and Quality Control which need sorting out if you want to gain a more consistent and credible company reputation.0 -
I have a sense of deja vu here ... please reformat your post so it is readable. At the moment it is just a wall of text.0

I think it's only fair to give 2 different sides of the story and from personal experience I have only good to say about Wren Kitchens. I had a kitchen designed from their Orpington showroom, the kitchen is fantastic quality (also agreed by my fitter) looks great and the customer service although not perfect was not bad at all. I also know two other people who have bought their kitchens from wren with no problem at all, we're all really pleased, I think you must be a minority.
Y0u must be one of the few Jenny and I think you are in the minority. Kitchen arrived with wrong doors as they hadnt manufactured them at time of delivery. When we complained after being told there was a two week delay they arrived next day!. Worktops were finished wrongly, bits were missing, delivery of new worktop one only came so had to wait another 2 weeks. Customer service is appaling. the manager alone needs to go on a course, I would never have dealt with a complaint at the frOnt of the store. Have got some compensation but no where near what it should be. Kitchen design was flawed had to have infil panel. Kitchen delivered in May, still awaiting last part. This isnt tHe only forum and all I hear frOm the majority is complaints. If I had bought a cheapo kitchen I would have expected it. Unit for extractor came fullly assembled so had to cut base out etc etc. I could teach them good customer service, that is what makes an experience better whether the product is good or not NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.0 -
Hi i am a kitchen fitter, i fit for Wren kitchens and Porcelanosa. The quality of wrens kitchens is far better than the likes of Magnet, B&Q, Howdens. I have fitted around 50 wren kitchens around the north lanarkshire, glasgow and stirling areas, not every kitchen gets fitted without a slight hitch, not i of my customers has complained about quality and i deal with any issues with regards to the kitchen and then relate these onto the salesperson so that the customer doesn't need to contact anyone, and then i contact customer once parts have been received.
Having fitted kitchens for 17 years my only gripe working with the public is the slightest thing that goes wrong whether its a damaged door or handle short, all they look for is compensation.0 -

Nearly every kitchen that gets fitted has infill panels, so not sure how your kitchen is flawed0 -
How bizarre! I was just reading this thread when someone from Wren kitchens rang me regarding our order of a new plinth for the kitchen which was accidentally broken.
My experience of Wren is very good and we are very pleased with our kitchen some 18 months since it was fitted. We had a few issues with under cabinet lighting but Wren sorted it very quickly and replaced faulty parts. I am impressed with the quality and fairly shocked to read some of the comments on here.0 -
What is probably more bizarre is how many newbies join this site just to comment on Wren Kitchens and then never ever post again on any other thread or subject - make of that what you will.................0
-
I have just read through all the threads now and can assure you I am nothing to do with Wren but stand by my comments.
I don't log in and comment on threads I know nothing about although I do regularly come in for a browse or look specifically if google throws the site up in answer to a query.
I did get some help on a problem I had with a voucher.
I wonder why you are so defensive if people have good things to say?0 -
The last 10 comments 5 newbies - coincidence or not?
Wren threads always throw up more newbies than any other thread on this entire site0
