  • Do Wren charge £20 for a design visit then? Is it not free?

Why was my earlier post (as per post below) removed?
Please advise which rule I have broken and I will happily amend my post. I am adding what I believe is a balanced and personal experience based view and I can see no reason for removal. '

  • I am new to the forum and have read all the negatives about Wren, but I want to post the positives I have had from the sales team at the Doncaster branch, firstly the customer service has been absolutely 110% cannot fault them at all, from the minute we walked into the shop we were not pressured or harassed, we arranged for a designer to come and look and redesign which he did, he filled every available space. We finally decided to buy as it looked fantastic they gave us a date for delivery which they rung to ask if they could deliver early and everything was accounted for, the delivery men were very polite and helpful and placed everything where we asked. We have now got our kitchen in and it looks stunning and would like to let everyone know that Richard our designer and his manager Courtney were exceptional throughout nothing was too much trouble for them. Personally i would recommend Wren kitchens as our experience has been faultless. Thank you all at Doncaster Wren :T
  • Just finished fitting my Wren kitchen and it is absolutely stunning. I have done three kitchens myself now and this was by far the easiest to install. Ready made and all there when delivered. I was one handle short which was parcel forced out within two days so no real issue there. Can't recommend highly enough so can't understand some of the comments on here as my experience was totally different. They were also £2589 cheaper than the next cheapest company. I got four quotes from various suppliers. Have already got my mum and dad to see them last weekend.

    No

I am loving their valuable input to this thread and the dozens of others they are contributing to

They are a credit to Armando and to society

Grammies, Knighthoods and Oscars all round I say :D
  • I too had an order which was incomplete with doors missing which confirms that they have no quality control.

Surely it would save money to the company and provide better customer satisfaction if the units were checked to have doors?

    Quite fundamental in modern business!!!

Overall, I feel the service I have had has been good but feel the company needs to ensure the basics are done via quality control to ensure the customer can report good things rather than irrations which can be fixed but should never have to be fixed
  • All company's supplying goods have customer service issues, it's nothing new and will always be a part of life.

I used to work for the largest kitchen supplier in the UK, Howdens Joinery and although everything is supplied from stock there were still issues of missing parts, damages etc, it happens.

I'm not saying the posters here have done what I'm about to say, but it is always advisable to take delivery of your kitchen at least one week prior to installation so that damages, missing items can be rectified. Make sure your installer checks dimensions and layout before installing kitchen. Check the listing for accruacy against layout. Check the items delivered against the delivery note!

Take responsibilty for your purchase. Kitchens are not cheap so why would you not make sure you get what you pay for?

Last point; a ten grand kitchen installed by an idiot will look like a one grand kit hen, whereas a one grand kitchen installed by a quality fitter will look ten times better.

They knew frontals were missing but they are not going to stop installation so didn't bother informing you. Is it right? No, but it's not a major issue. It's only an issue if they don't turn up before your fitter leaves, and even then doors are easily attached and aligned.
