A friend warned me off Wren Kitchens as they knew someone who worked in their head office and apparently even the staff see the company as a bit of a joke as someone working there bought a kitchen and it came in the wrong colours and the cupboards didn’t fit!
They were saying a culture of fear exists within head office, so it’s little surprise the customer service is so poor as described by other people.
Very true. I was a product manager and was fired from Wren early in the year for no reason. I was bullied and humiliated and finally dismissed for no valid reason. This happened to others too. It's little surprise the customer service is so poor as this type of management style leads to disillusioned staff.0 -
I have just ordered a kitchen from Wren after getting a quote from pretty much all of the big names inc. Hammonds, Wickes, B&Q, Magnet. They seemed to offer what we wanted and at a good price which is why we chose them in the end.
Experience (at the Reading store) so far better sales service than at any other showroom the salesperson spent at least 6 hours of his time "tweaking" the design and came out to my house with the product.
We are having Wren fit the kitchen as well, and the fitter came out and advised that some of the design may not be possible due to plumbing locations, so we have again tweaked the design which seemed no problem.
Having now read this thread I am preparing myself for the worst when it comes to the delivery on the 15th Oct - I will be checking everything very carefully.
I will post again once the delivery/fitting has gone ahead, but so far the process has been easy for us.
I hope I haven't spoken too soon.0 -

I had an absolute nightmare dealing with Wren. I purchased a kitchen from them last year and fitters did a total bodge job – obviously the salespeople, designers and fitters didn’t communicate. The kitchen in fact wasn’t fit for purpose and parts were missing and some components didn’t fit.
By far the worst part was dealing with customer service. It was impossible to speak to anyone who could help and when I asked to speak to a manager I was told that their numbers couldn’t be given out and that they would call me back but these promised call-backs didn’t happen.
Eventually, I just gave up and Magnet stripped out the old kitchen which I put on the bonfire and couldn’t be happier with Magnet who were excellent throughout the whole process and designed and fitted a great new kitchen for us.0 -
Hello All,
Just in the process of looking at a new kitchen and have been into the Wren showroom. I have a local builder who has done all the measuring and will fit the thing so will let you know how it goes. I will be the first to complain if anything is missing/damaged or generally up to par. After reading the reviews slightly nervous however fingers crossed............1. Cash

Wren have a good product for the price and if everything goes well represent good value.........but.........it seems that only Vance Miller can boast a greater inability to put things right when they go wrong and inspire flaming on forum boards on such a massive scale! To those who despite these threads...this is far from the only one..... who decide to go with them...good luck...in the event of a mis measure, a delivery error, or a dodgy fit..you might need it.0
