E mailed SAINSBURYS last week cos I had bought some Milk and a mulitpack of Muller Fruit Corners. When I got home I found the milk to be 2 days out of date and the Mullers to be 1 day out of date. When Sainsburys finally responded today - they just apologised and said there are procedures in place to stop these mistakes happening - no mention of even giving me my money back!0

I know it has appeared previously on another thread but its worth repeating that Sainsburys are not only serial overchargers but when you go back to point it out, they couldn't give a toss. I actually like shopping in Sainsburys but ALWAYS go over my receipt and always find overcharging. Each time I go back, they behave as if its my fault and never ever apologise. I'm trying to remember why I like to shop there but it escapes me at the moment. ???0

Iceland came up trumps for me, I was charged full price for a reduced item and was narked/heavily pregnant so didn't want to go back in, phoned up, just asked for my address and sent £10 vouchers.
Then I bought something on 3for2 in M&S and realised later the offer didn't come up, sent them an email, they also sent £10 voucher.
Can't be bad, I was only a £1 out of pocket each time!0 -
Iceland are very good I've started ordering online and had problems getting started,
emailed them a number of times and their advice was great and they also sent 2 £10 voucher codes to use with my next 2 shops, and a £5 voucher through post to use instore,

a few years ago i went to woolworths to get a present for my daughters teacher, with dog under one arm and pressie in the other i stood patiently in line waiting to be served, got right up to counter when a young employee said excuse me but your not allowed dogs in the shop >:( i said ok keep your products, raged all the way home in the bus, then said no this isnt good enough! got on phone spoke to manager who was shocked i had a rotweiller under my arm(yorkshire terrier)
i went to work for an hour came back a guy from woolworths was on doorstep saying can i have a word ? invited him in, he said manager was most disturbed to hear what had happened and laughed when he seen the size of the dog lol.
upshot was i got my purchases for free plus £ 20 in vouchers ........anyone wanna borrow my dog ;D ;D ;DBe ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -

It's true Sainsburys are serial overchargers and their stuff is overpriced anyway so we've given them up as a bad job. I always check receipts now before leaving everywhere. No wonder Tesco are No 1 and Asda No 2 as they actually apologise on the rare occasions they get it wrong.

Hi
Great topic.
I always complain when i receive faulty products.
Have found Sainsbury's and M&S have responded quicker with vouchers than Tesco where i find the customer services people to be quite rude.
Tesco might be number 2 because their products are cheap but they need to improve on their customer service personnel.
I must say that i have not ever sent a compliment to a company.Nice to save.0
