I'm probably too beaten down now, that's the problem, I think the maids uniform was the last straw. She says black is my colour, the heels make me look taller and the stockings make my legs look nice. I'm not so sure tbh, I think there may be an ulterior motive. :think:Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

I took that challenge.........and we haven't had sex in bed for 2 years
lots of other places, just not bed.
What the problem with that, perks are worth the hassle? I'd say get on the hover (not literally:eek:)0 -
I cook, I clean, I pick his dirty socks up and I never refuse him a BJ :A
What else could my husband possibly want or need?!
I'm a wonderful wife!

To be honest, I used to work full time, but I also did all the cooking, hoovering, cleaning, finances, ironing, dishes, shopping oh and looking after our son. DH worked full time, cut the grass and did car mechanical stuff (when we had an old banger that wasnt all computerised). Yes I did the majority of the work and I was quite happy with that, I liked looking after him, occasionally I would have a tizzy fit about him not helping and he would push the hoover round and do a bit of tidying up, but mostly I liked to be in charge.
Since I fell ill and have been unable to do anything housework wise ive realised that ive caused him problems by letting him be mothered by me. For 2 years ive been pretty much stuck in a chair and he is totally at sea, he has no idea about bills, how to make a real meal (as in not an omelette or beans on toast) he can iron brilliantly, much better than me i must say and hes realised just how much work cleaning a 3 bed house on your own is, especially then you have 2 kids constantly nagging you for something.
I still do the cooking and the finances but have started to worry about how he would cope if anything happened to me. So have I been a good wife? In some respects yes, ive taken care fo him, loved him and supported him, but ive failed him by not making him learn how to care for himself so in that sense no.SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £2470.95/£1000 (19) £0/£10000 -

Wow, exactly the reason I keep asking DW to do other stuff (finances etc) as well. Albet some things are easier to pick-up other things are not.
Hope things work out for you.0 -

I'm a terrible nag! I try not to be but sometimes it needs to be done. My OH decided that we should each have jobs and he assigned himself several including the dishes and vacuming. The problem is he keeps forgetting.
I'm happy to clean but he'll tell me off because it's his job and starts doing a guilty clean. He really wants to do his fair share but he's just not used to it. I think it's lovely that he tries and I'm sure that over time things will settle down into a more sensible system.
***Edit***
He loves to eat and (at the risk of sounding like I have an ego) I'm a pretty fantastic cook so he's more than happy to leave that to me
