  • Hmm, feel like I'm an exhibit at a circus with some carny imploring the crowd to guess the height of the fat bloke - it's 6ft 4 to be precise, except when I let my hair grow and then it Kramers up another inch.

Anyways, I couldn't keep this a secret from Mrs B anymore - so now she knows what I'm doing. She hasn't read it yet but I'm sure its only a matter of time. Thought I would feel a sense of relief, that the burden of concealment would lift a weight, but basically I feel like a teenager who's just had their stash of booze fags and other goodies busted. Not that I ever got busted as a teenager cos I kept mine under the floorboards.
  • Its good that you have told Mrs B. I'm sure she will enjoy your diary and sense of humour as much as we all have.:)

Given that my mother, sisters and DH have all been known to lurk I never post anything I wouldn't be comfortable with them reading :)

:wave:_party_ Mrs B hello if you are reading!

Mr B, sounds like you are getting comfortable with 3k, just push yourself a tiny bit further next time. There is a comfortable pace and distance where you feel like you could run forever, wonderful when you find it. It took decent trainers to happen for me.

So Mr B do you think you could further reduce your BMI by growing your hair and wearing it like Jedward? That would instantly make you about 6ft 6in.

  • And breathes out. That was intense. Much like the wronged spouse who demands to know every small torturous detail about the affair, Mrs B and myself have just ploughed through the entire thread all 19 pages of it with a brief excursion to facebookland to see the comments on there about this. Was kinda hoping for the wine/Outnumbered combo tonight to set myself up nicely for tomorrow but instead had the thread/tea combo. Which has a lot less calories. She, like me, was wowed by the level of support from you guys. And most importantly, she has promised not to set up an account as MrsBloater to meddle in this thread. So it's business as usual without me having to conceal it. And business as usual means I better crash out now as I got a new 4k route planned for the morning. Not sure if it's the endorphins from all the exercise but I have not got the usual Sunday feeling of dread....
  • Morning Mr B, welcome Mrs B :)
Did you get out for your run this morning? The wind is whipping up something shocking here oop north. I am feeling chuffed as I have managed to resist the M*Muffins all weekend, thus proving I do have will power and am capable of thrift...there is hope :)
