I am sure that it has already mentioned but falling off the wagon, whether it be the debt one or the weight one is quite common at first. In fact I would be worried if you didn't do this a few times over the course of these journeys! It is normal. So pick yourself up, give yourself a mental kick up the bum, and start busting the kilos, and £'s tomorrow
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hey MrB, been following your diary. Like many others I have been enjoying your writing style. Chev's advice is spot on. Think of all the change you've been making lately! You've got a lot on your plate and you've been working hard to cultivate some good habits, like the running. One or two or three cheese sandwiches aren't going to blow these off course.
If you know your weaknesses then try to make a couple of simple rules. For example I still eat cheese but not in the form of sandwiches. Just changing this one thing was pretty hard. Hope you can recognise all the good stuff you're doing and give yourself a pat on the back. Twirly Martins to you (and those don't come out every day I can tell ya) :money: :money: :money:

Took a long hard considered look (for all of about a hundredth of a second) at the hill that awaited me if I embarked upon my extended 4k route and swiftly jogged on round the corner on my usual 3k instead. It's still blooming gusty out there but it was pretty much an ideal run as I didn't encounter anyone pretty much until near the end where I slowed a bit cos of a dodgy looking big white van reversing into the back of the brothel/forced labour camp that masquerades as a bathroom shop. I didn't fancy getting scooped up like a fieldmouse, thrown in the van, having my head shaved and made to dance for money so I made sure it had fully reversed before I ran all the way home. Which is what I was going to do anyway. Back to 23-0 which is still good but I know that the cheese and wine evening probably stopped me making further losses. It also kept me sane and didn't cost anything so I mustn't grumble.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

well done on the run-i'm wondering whether it's too windy to cycle in, but i'll give it a go.
I'm a big cheese lover myself but i'm doing weight watchers and for a matchbox size its 5points so i've trained myself to like ham ~(which i do anyway) and thats 1point for 3 slices so all good!!0 -
Well done Mr B, i took one listen to the wind this morning and thought 'sorry dog i'm not going out in this'!

Seriously impressive that you had the motivation to get yourself out for a run this morning
And just imagine how dull we would become if we denied ourselves any sort of treats, all things in moderation are fine, I reckon.
As for the dancing for money...I've got a lovely image in my head now!! Have you considered turning it into an alternative workout dvd? Could be ready for release in the new year...I'd definitely buy it'Forget injuries, never forget kindnesses' - Confucious0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Just imagining a shaven-haired MrB dancing and wobbling about .... tho seriously, well done on getting out there, especially after your very temporary fall off the wagon, you'll do fine!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
