Well June has been a crazy old month. Finished off the remnants of the second and third jobs today so from tomorrow I am back to having just the one. Had quite a few 2.30am starts in order to get everything done but the extra pay should see us through (just) til September. First task of July will be to do an updated finance spreadsheet just to see if things are going to balance, and then look at getting back into getting back into shape again. And of course I now have no excuse the next time a free listing weekend comes along - might just need a few sales on eBay to help us limp across the finish line.

Have you still got any (Music) Cassettes left, including blanks or tape holders/cases? They seem to be having a revival and some are fetching a pretty penny or two - have a look at 'sold' listings........oh and they're a damn sight easier to pack than vinyl:rotfl:

Am kinda missing my part-time jobs so applied for a couple more but with it being very seasonal, the likelihood is that I won't have any more 20hour days for a long while unless I shift my emphasis. Have had a pretty good idea for my writing / Kindle stuff which will distance it further from the 'real' me. I need that sort of passive income just ticking over - with the right push and the right price point I could have a few quid coming in every month - this is probably something to look at in detail over the summer.

Done the finances and found out we as a family have £100 to get us through the month. Yikes. That's with all the bills covered. About half our credit cards are just repayment now and the others are maxed out so we are going to have to play things very carefully. Hopefully some of the money from the extra work will come through this month although it might not hit til August. Gulp. On the brightside we have an inordinate amount of alcohol in the house thanks to a party on Saturday when many people seemed to bring a bottle but few bothered to drink them. This is certainly helping us get through the final squeeze - things do get brighter after this and it's been a mixture of luck, judgement, budgeting and sheer cunning (probably in that order) that we haven't had this restriction on us all the time since January.

I am pretty damn sure I shall be ebaying this weekend and also running - funnily enough I am feeling more upbeat now than in a long time - fingers crossed this positivity hangs around a while.

Looks like from 1st August you can have up to 12 pictures free on any listing - if I have read it right. Guess every little helps;)
