301k in debt and morbidly obese - things aren't great!

Down to the 22stone 0 mark so should be back in the 21s shortly. That news made up for the fact that I could only manage 4 of my planned 5 kilometres this morning. This was entirely due to my having to go out running a bit later and hence being a bit more awake than usual - allowing all the rubbish that pollutes my mind to have some more time to grow and fester. Tomorrow has to be a 4.30 start and a 6k run to restore the balance.
Car incident will be resolved without recourse to insurance - the other party is happy to accept two instalments so things will be manageable - glad I didn't get too clever.
Main job for this weekend (other than cheering on Greece, Malta and that operatic Romanian dude in the Eurovision) is to get some more stuff ready for ebay/bootfair/charity. Fingers crossed the weather holds today so I can use the patio.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Last time I did some exercise (a 3 mile hike a week ago last Thursday to be precise) I twisted my lower back and have only just got to the point that it is no longer hurting.
Add to this, the arm injury picked-up last year playing tennis on the Wii, and I guess that me and exercise are just not compatible.Never Knowingly Understood.

Good times abound. Back from a 6.3km trundle in beautiful daybreaking solitude - the streets of SE London have never looked so good. Could have probably run a bit more but thanks to the Eurovision malfunction last night I was not at 100% capacity. The plan was to have the wine before the show started so that come the morning I would be fresh as a daisy - but the rest of the Bloaters decided to watch BGT instead, leaving me sad and alone with only a bottle of Berry Cider that Mrs B decided she didn't want - the manufacturers have certainly plugged the hitherto untapped market of an alcoholic drink that has the unmistakeable taste of Calpol and vomit.
Further investigation of my damaged motor has revealed something potentially interesting - it appears that aside from one tiny chip, it isn't so much scratched as coated with streaks of the other car's paint. So I might be able to use some potion to lift that off. It's the sort of day for hunting in the shed for random Halfords products.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Great that you are doing so well Mr B. Well done. You have given me a boot up the back side, and I WILL try and do at least one lot of exercise this week.

Mr B. Thank you for giving me for a very entertaining last few hours reading through the whole of your diary. I laughed, I empathised (decided a bloke shouldn't put cry), I started my own diary.
I decided that if someone could come up with a title like yours, still keep a sense of humor when they were struggling with debt and throw weight loss into the equation, then I really had to pull my finger out and have a go. More power to you sir and I look forward to the continuing story of your early morning encounters with local ne'er do wells etc :beer:0 -
All set for a run this morning and was up at 3.30am but sadly all systems were not go, cos I had to deal with some "inner turmoil". Said turmoil however did help with weekly weigh-in (I've finally realised that doing it daily is a really f'ing stupid idea) and the trajectory is still downwards. Strangely though the turmoil of my digestive system has also made it's way to my brain and, rather than sitting in the front room with the family watching a nice movie I have just spent the last half hour gently torturing myself by working out to the exact penny exactly how much money I have cost my family by losing my old job.I don't feel any better for knowing the price of my failure and am not sure exectly what I do with this information.

Try Meguiars Scratch X?

It's said to be less harsh than T Cut, although i haven't tried it.
If you use T Cut, put wax on top, afterwards.
Which reminds me.
Some scratches and black paint have appeared on my car.
Why can't people learn to drive / be more careful with what they are doing?
How can you hit another car when it's parked?
Downright careless.
Looking on the bright side, i suppose i should be thankful there's no accompanying dent.Fred - Where's your get up and go?
Barney - It just got up and went.
