    Progress update:

    - Got through the day at work without controversy (DONE. BORING)
    - Got through the evening without recourse to alcohol (DONE. BORING)
    - Listed a whole bunch of sellable stuff (NOT DONE. TOO BORING)
    - Had my crazy flailing locks cut so I look slightly less like someone who would offer to tarmac your driveway for a good price. (DONE)
    - Gone for a bloody run. (CAN'T WAIT)

Off to sleep now. Or maybe I'll have a cheese sandwich first. Party On!

Hmm, yesterday evening I spent 1 hr on the wii and 30 minutes heavy digging in the garden.
Oh, and then a bit of time polishing my halo :A.

    I believe that I'm currently winning :p.

Thought I'd posted this morning but clearly I did not.

5k run banked at 4.30am and I am happy to say that I absolutely loved it. So much so that I plan to do another one tomorrow. Aside from the grudgeful pensioner on the mountain bike there was no controversy, just a lovely warm run through the daybreaking vista of SE London.

Have had another AFD so that must make it two for the month, and whilst I haven't yet gotten around to listing, I now have a selection of tubs and bags with goodies in cluttering up the family room. Am hoping I can squeeze a final grand out of eBay from all the stuff left. That would just see me through perfectly to the finish line.

Also got a fat cheque from my temporary second job - not as fat as it should have been - I calculated it £270 differently to them but I am very confident I will get that sent through soon as well.

So not a bad day overall. Here's hoping tomorrow is just as positive.
  • Hello MrB,

I'm morbidly obese too, wish I wasn't and am so inspired by your running, well done!!!

Congratulations on clearing your debts to date and for your continued progress, you're doing so well!

When do you break for summer? We're about to go into week 3 of the holidays!

On the plus side, I was up and out running at 4.40am. On the downside I was back home by 4.50am having managed just under a kilometre. Not sure what went wrong - the general mental unease of having boxes of ebayable stuff around my living space, annoyance at self for spending more time annoying my cousin on facebook rather than listing said items, the tuna and jalapeno sandwich I unwisely decided to have at midnight, the second tuna and jalapeno sandwich I had two minutes later, or the fact I have not been taking my glucosmine tablets - whatever the reason I had a real sense of unease and impending injury and so I returned home. Ebay and Shed are battle foci for today.

It's been a long day and only managed to start listing at 9pm. 80 minutes and 2 cups of tea later I am admitting defeat - got 7 items on at high starting prices but haven't got the energy or desire to do anymore. Hopefully Ebay will do another free listing weekend soon.

Have organised a lot of the stuff and it now only takes up a small corner of the family room, and despite the heat I did fierce battle with the shed and came out victorious with some floorspace.

Work tomorrow so need another early night and one more AFD for the books.

And in a flurry of activity I have now just listed a few books on Amazon Marketplace. The selling bug is finally gripping me. Too dark and early for a run (3.27) - maybe in an hour...

Hi Mr B, just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed reading your diary and how much I admire your determination and commitment. I do worry you're not getting enough sleep though!:)

Love reading a diary where someone gets less sleep than me :D.

Things are looking up Mr B :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
