I think that probably goes against some European directive/regulation on the movement and transportation of frogs
We have slow worms here in abundance this year - but I quite like them so that OK ( quite like frogs and toads too)

Must get back to the exercise again soon. Am getting very bored of writing that.

How does shame work for you? I am (I promise) going to go and do some exercise any minute now ... if I post that I've done it will that shame you into doing some tomorrow? If you then report doing some it would definitely shame me into more. Good ole buddy system :cool:Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

Loving the idea of the shaming support network - anything based on envy / bile / hostility is far more appealing to me than all that treehugging self-betterment stuff. I also notice Angry Bear that you have lost quite a bit of weight. That makes me want to lose some more. Although as I am also on my third pint can of Stella it likely makes me want to fight you too. Hmm, will have to rethink all this motivation stuff.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Heh, smugly reporting 1 hr on the wii fit
My motivation comes and goes, my target is to make sure that when it goes I hold steady rather than piling the pounds back on. Unfortunately that means my weight loss has been at a stand still for most of the year. But I hear smugness is a real calorie burnerDo you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

For me too the BIG challange is keeping the weight off.

After I read thro most of this diary I decided to change my signature & add running km to it. It has actually motivated me to try to do bit more running & it's worked for me. My running is actually just jogging at my own pace.
So thanks Mr. Bloater for helping motivate me with running / jogging.
BTW it does seem like torture at times both mental & physical.Debt @ LBM April 2013: £68.75k

In theory, Bare-knuckle fighting helps to shed large amounts of calories and alas, blood, although.....blood weighs too....;)0 -
on a more positive note, i allowed myself a glass of wine (large) tonight ONLY when i had done a certain amount of exercise.
we lost decent amount of weight on the 5:2 fasting plan and now continue it, albeit more 700-800 rather than 500-600 on fasting days - it's amazing what you can eat for that amount.0 -
Am full of beans and good intentions. By the time I post again tomorrow morning I will have
- Got through the day at work without controversy
- Got through the evening without recourse to alcohol
- Listed a whole bunch of sellable stuff
- Had my crazy flailing locks cut so I look slightly less like someone who would offer to tarmac your driveway for a good price.
- Gone for a bloody run.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
