Morning. Did I miss some spam? Up the docs at lunchtime, so am just chilling on my patio with a giant jigsaw which is about as rock n roll as I get these days. Our moneysaving journey today is going to involve stocking up on the M&S meals for a tenner - with the happy side effect of boosting the Bloater wine cellar, and, er, doing a jigsaw.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

Jigsaw was a partial success. Despite attracting derision from Mrs B I ploughed on, although my insistence at not looking at the finished image (as it was a map I thought I'd be fine) meant my woefully poor knowledge of Iranian geography slowed me down - I'd been saving Russia til last but then the kids started getting annoyed with me appearing to relax so the whole thing got put away. And here the little Bloaters are again - will I ever get time to finish a post or go for a run, let alone save money? Grrr.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

morning Mr B, great to see you posting again!
not sure if it's been mentioned before, but have you thought about the 30 day shred?
it's an exercise DVD that aims to get you fit quick... and it works. takes 20 mins, you're never doing anything for longer than 30 seconds so good for those with a low boredom threshold like me :rotfl: it's hard but it does get results. Jillian is really good, not annoying (although the music is) and you can normally pick it up off Amazon for about a fiver.
might be a good kickstarter to go with your running
keep up the good work :j0 -
The Shred is excellent but it does come with a warning, so check with your doctor .
Having said that, Jillian Michaels is inspirational. (JMO

most things do
but if Mr B is managing to run OK I think it should be fine. Running is so brutal on your body
but miggy you are right, if you've never done anything before, best to go steady and check with the docs0
