Good to have you back Mr B.:)
I beg to differ, as you were a great cheerleader. The threads you started really motivated people. I know that you got me started on the losing weight journey and since August I have lost 29lb. That is in part down to you. Thank you for all your motivation and I know you have helped many others start their weight loss/ money saving journeys.:T:T:TDFW Nerd 1394.

Morning. Developments since yesterday are:
- Creating a giant spreadsheet not only listing all the incoming/outcoming, but also plotting ahead the next 20 years - somewhat OCD but then I've always thought balance was overrated. It's useful to see that in the next two years a couple of big loans are up which will give us more money to throw at the credit cards. And am also glad to learn that despite buying in 2007 - we aren't in negative equity. Run was planned for today but the kids were up by 5.30 so I need to get back into the habit of being out the door by 4.00. Yikes.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

*I am going to get an appointment with the docs and have all the necessary tests done, I would never treat a condition like diabetes so lightly.
Good luck, I found my self in the same position Feb 2011, with Type 2, by Oct /Nov 2011, Type 2 was beaten, even the Dr was in awe of me!but it came with a warning it could come back at any time, if I wasn't careful, so now I only drink water, no fat, no salt, no sugar, walk loads, even now have a treadmill in my workshop at work so if it is quite, I wizz downstairs, for 20 mins on it, even been known to answer the phone while on it!!.

I have been asked by Mrs B to point out to regular readers of this thread that the Bloater family has not contributed to Johnnie Boden's cash mountain for almost a year now. His gaudy catalogues still plop merrily through the door but are then unceremoniously dumped unread into the recycling box.
Old-timers might also be heartened to know that the ongoing battle with the shed is continuing today - all the hoard is being dragged out of the shadows, photographed and ready to be listed. We're going to have a 3 strikes system for the stuff - if it ain't eBayed, then it goes to the carboot, and if it fails there then it's getting donated.
And another moneysaving thing that would no doubt bring tears of joy to even the most extreme Matrixer (have they been disbanded or something - usually by now I'd have had some morale boosting message off one of them saying how it's all very well budgeting but I'm too fat to run and so will likely get killed in some hospital blunder resulting from a knee injury) is that instead of buying a new car seat for the boy Bloater we went to one of those annoying hobby stores full of quilters and bought some blue dye to change the pink cover for something more masculine. MSE or what? Wish me luck in the shed.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
