    Mr B.

Have you not thought about a blog? I can imagine it would be right up your street.

I hear there is money to be made from blogging - the Guardian have been running a series on this which, alas, i have failed to read. Plus you could advertise all your wares to your heart's content:D

Oh, is that a polite way of telling me to !!!! off? Apologies if it looks like I've been hawking my Kindle books (with their combined sales of 23 it obviously has not been a particularly successful strategy!) - that was not the intention at all, and I'm sorry if it's offended anyone.

Step away from the scissors, sit down and have a cuppa.

I would ignore the suggestion of doing a Blog. No offence to Firesidemaid but she has probably not read the action packed day you have had today. We is all quite proud of you Mr B but you don't have to do everything today.

When I suggested telling the stores you DD was filling the turbine hall with cardboard dinosaurs it was only a story. It's not what you're physically supposed to be trying to do.

I wrote this while Butti was also posting,
I haven't a kindle, so I'd have to buy books in hard copy. Besides, I like having them around the walls.
Have you any remainders you could put on Amazon or e-bay? I suppose not if they were printed 10 years ago. My dad had lots, even when all visitors were given one.:rotfl:

Don't go! Step away from the red cross on the tab! People want to help, thats all - check out this blog for instance:

    http://orkneyflowers.blogspot.com/

Its written by a woman named Pippi on mse - you'll notice she has over 100 followers? Its taken a while, of course, but the number has grown steadily - she's setting up a website to sell flowers from, but she used the blog to help her over writer's block initially, while she was finishing her MSc. As well as selling on ebay, she has dozens of people who'd rather buy plants from her than from their local nursery, even if she *is* in the Orkneys. Its a long term venture, but if you have something to sell, it can make you money. And you *do* have something to sell.

Today's early morning fun comprised a trip to A&E as the crippling chest pains which have been plauging me for a while (and which I couldn't comment on, on here cos Mrs B reads it and I don't like her getting worried) were worse than ever upon my waking. Having been x-rayed, ECG'd and bloodtested the good news is that it's nothing irreversible, broken or lung/heart-related. Bad news is that despite knowing its purely muscular it still hurts like hell! Got home to check my work email to find my boss has suggested I take the rest of the day off. And so I will.

Scary stuff Mr B, glad it's nothing serious, you take care x

I'm glad it's nothing serious Mr B. Is this why you've been missing out on your running every day? Hope you're feeling better soon.

New month, new set of challenges. My major one is actually nothing to do with running, debt, kindle or eBay - it's about keeping my big trap shut at work, keeping my head down, keeping up with things, keeping those that need to be pleased happy and most importantly keeping my job. Because there is no Plan B.
And finally given in and got myself a signature - hoping that will keep me on track as well. No running today for obvious reasons but I was sorely tempted. The only zeroes I want to see on this signature are next to the word Debt.
