:kisses3::kisses3: to you, FW, and MrB both
Some people don't have the energy for all of it at once, FW! And tho I totally agree with you about the long term reality of needing to keep on losing weight, people have to go at their own pace - if you read what MrB's been doing, in such a short time, I think he's done great.
KC, I officially love you (have the feeling that I have said this before but if not, it is a shameful omission). More importantly, MrF loves you as well and is asking whether you may consider spending couple of days with us next time you come to Liverpool - to help him contain my slave-driving nature:rotfl:.

As someone who has "burned out" more than once by trying to do too much all at once (and as a result am much where I was 5 years ago) I would say make sure you keep perspective MrB and do what you do in a way that you can form new manageable habits. So that might be doing just a few eBay items at a time but regularly. Or running a couple of times a week but not trying for every day. Decide on the things that are important and what habits you want to form. Then work out how you can build those into your life in a manageable way. Everything might take a bit longer but in the long run you will get there.
ps. I think you have done amazingly so far. :T0 -

Hi Mr B, just popping out of lurkdom with a suggestion.
To save time could you combine one or more things? For example if you were to take a brisk walk down to the post office with DS in the buggy you are then combining posting your ebay sales, doing some exercise and enjoying father/son time?
Could you switch around your usual daytime routine so that you can do this and free up some down time for you?Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0 -

Day out at the 'local' castle today - got all excited cos I thought the bloke in front of us was the voice of Daddy Pig (in Peppa Pig) but some googling at home later dispelled that myth. In between trying to be a decent dad and husband I was able to sneakily reformat my next book which should be on Kindle in the morning - those thinking that 'Rubbing Salt' was dark would be best off staying well clear, 'Process of Elimination' is somewhat more extreme, as a book about war should be. Sold another 6 books on kindle today - making it 22 - a decent enough figure for the first few hours. An old mate of mine is a fervent kindler and has recommended all manner of websites and links and mutual review things I can do to generate sales, I'm a bit more old school about these things, if it's any good then word will spread - the whole point of getting all this legacy material out there in public again is that I will have no option but to work on new stuff, and that's what I want - the number of page views this thread gets means there is an audience out there. Also managed to list another 20 records for eBay - 7 day listings ending on a Sunday evening. See, I am listening to advice...
Think some people might have got the wrong end of the stick, I never meant to infer that I would not be running again, merely that there are too many plates to spin at the same time this weekend. Now I have the listing and the publishing outta the way, next week's priority is weightloss again.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)

MrB. One piece of software worth adding to your PC is 'Calibre'. This is an e-book manager and also has a built-in converter to convert the file to other e-book formats and thus, expand your market.

What a lovely thing to say! :kisses3: I'll be working on that visit then! Next scheduled one is Christmas, so we better look for something a little later on
Sorry for the hijack, MrB :cool:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Mr B - I, too, spotted your Thread by chance yesterday, now subscribed.
May I offer these tips, kindly given me by a chap at a carboot some years ago?
1. Start listings on Thursday evenings for 10 days, thus catching 2 w/e's of foot traffic.
2. Re-list any Unsolds immediately. This surprised me. I'd thought the idea would be to give item a rest, then spring it on Unsuspectings all afresh later...NOOOO!!!!!! He's right. Also, your fee is refunded if re-listed item sells.
My own packaging foraging is for cardboard[comme vous], polystyrene[comme vous] for breakables. Use this also broken up as weightless crocks in the bottom of plant pots. Grow tomatoes in pots aside from your garden plot next year, south-facing along a fence if poss.-fantastic results- and perhaps have a competition, to encourage minor Bs' / Mrs B's participation? Ditto runner beans, as has been mentioned. These things cope well with roots confined, thrusting everything upstairs - 9>12" pots.
Finally, harvest bubble wrap from supermarket F&V sections[in my case, Mr T]for wrapping. My locals even save it for me, as it cuts their waste disposal bulk. It also cuts my postage costs massively[ebay and Amazon]and outer casing is carrier bag. Tidy loose ones as you pass checkouts/trolleys on way out.
I make a positive of it in listings - 'I use recycled packaging wherever possible'. You can be prolific with it for protection, weight barely discernible, cost nil.
As you've heard already - BUY A SET OF ELECTRONIC SCALES. They are brilliant.
Indicate that 'all UK sales go Trackable 2nd class Recorded Delivery, unless precluded by weight.'
Finally, one thing I do bulk buy online is wide sellotape, brown and clear. Again, economy of scale makes generous use cost-effective. Engenders good f/b, too.
Bonne chance!

re: plate-spinning. Can you set yourself a modest target? - say 5/10 turbo-listings per day, then stop? My listings can take hours of research etc. and photography is my nightmare. I don't 'do' media[ancient crone, moi]- so I think this type of listing should be do-able for you?CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
