Why are you slating her for being Vegan when in your previous thread entitled: How can I ensure my stepsons don't get a penny from my will
you state (about 50 billion times) that you want your money to go to an animal charity. You obviously both have an affection for animals. And she gives you dirty looks for eating meat yet in that thread she cooks him sausages? Doesn't add up.
You come across as obsessed with them and consumed with hate and rage, all for no real reason, other than him having big feet of course, how awful! Sounds like a wind up to me.0 -

Job centre? He thinks that's a swear word.
He gets some sort of dole money every 2 weeks which he spends on drugs. I belive its marajhuana and some cans. He goes to meet his brother for a couple of nights. They sit in a friend's car for two or three nights till this has all been consumed and he then proceeds to stay in every night till his next chq comes through.
The only saving grace the boy has, is that he'll do the lawn sometimes.. for his nan as she is too old to do it.
He doesn't give her any keep. We ask him to, but she says she wont accept it.
He doesn't drive a car. We paid for lessons for him and he refused to learn. He says he has no interest in driving. Its too expensive. Those were his words.
Honestly, I could write a book on those two.0 -

I'd rather it went to an animal charity than to him or the other boys (who i've still only met once or twice, don't even know them.. they live with the mum).
Animals are helpless. They can't just walk into jobs. They need people like me. If it weren't for people like me, there would be fewer animal sancturies around.
I love animals, but I also am a meat eater. You can be both. Its not against the law.
YES! Thanks for reminding me! She gives US, that's me and my husband FILTHY looks for eating meat, yet i've known of her cooking sausages for the stepson. This is another reason I hate her.
This is not a wind up. I am not obsessed with them. I just want a life whereby, my husband spends all the time he needs to with them, and I am not dragged into their lives. Its not much to ask. I'm getting there now.
When we were first married, I had to live with them! It was pure hell for me. But that's a whole new thread. Don't have time today.
When we then moved into our new place, for at least a year +, I was almost MADE to go and visit them. I have sat down and had so many talks with my husband about this.. that I should only go when I want to.. (which unfortunately as it has turned out is never), and my husband is now beginning to understand. It has taken a long time.
But these days, he'll say, "i'm going off to mum's.. are you coming?" and i'll say, no thanks darling, you go.. and he leaves it at that. I'll even send her some spare milk with him, so it doesn't go bad as we fluctuate, how much milk is consumed in our house due to one week going crazy on having crunchy nut cornflakes & horlicks binges.. to the next, when we only have it in tea and coffee.
But then weeks go by.. and he will start saying, oh.. you must go over there, just for a few minutes.. she'll know you don't like her otherwise.
Do you know what? I don't want to hurt her feelings, I really don't.. I just wish I could find a way that I never had to see her and everybody was happy. Why does life have to be so bl...y complicated?0 -

I am not going to argue with you or tell you my thoughts on everything you have said, but for some reason your thread has really riled me.
You will get more than 3 good ideas from the overseas travel board, and alot less arguments with strangers about your life.
If some words typed on a message board can "rile" you, then you need to ask yourself why.
Are you forcing someone in your life to spend time with you? If so, that could be one reason you are riled.0 -
You know what? I wish one day you're invited to visit them and you go - so reluctantly it hurts, full of hatred and bile - and when you get there your mother-in-law opens the door and goes "Ha! Sorry, it was a JOKE!" and closes the door in your face again.
Very rarely do people online get to me, but you have. Bravo, you're quite scary.0 -

Who would need motivation when you have a gran that dotes on you and spoils you, never encourages you to go out in the evenings, infact, she always has a go at us for telling him to go out more.
We tell him to go out more so that it might encourage him to want to work. but he just doesn't want to work.
And quite honestly, why would he need to?
I've no respect for either of them. Her (mil) for enabling him, and him for living off her. And a thousand other reasons I don't have time to write about. They are not my cup of tea.
Well at the end of the day its her money and if she chooses to spend it on her grandson then so be it -even if means he is a lazy good for nothing.
Mind you with the obvious hatred you appear to have for the son / MIL they will probably be thankful that you want to go away for Christmas as I personally couldn't think of anything worse than spending ANY day with someone who had that opinion of me.2014 Target;
