Trying for a Baby Part 7

Hi Emsbet,
I am lurking and just reading. Went to the gym tonight and was able to workout without pain, which was encouraging, and then out with a friend where we shared a fantastic bottle of red. Probably not a great idea, but I needed it to relax.
This weekend I have NOTHING to do! And I am so pleased about it. Tomorrow I will catch up on sleep, and probably a bit of lazy BD'ing if I am in the mood.
Only job is to finish my cross stitch (I know... very nerdy, but doing a big design at the moment, and have 2 on order!). The place I do framing in has a half price sale until Christmas, so I want to get it to them by next week.
Anyone else got a weekend plan that is duller than mine? And who are so happy to have such a quiet weekend!
Sounds like a nice weekendIs cross stitch difficult to do?
We don't have much to do, mostly present wrapping and fixing the air bed for Christmas night (stopping at my mum's and there are no spare beds). So much excitement in the emsbet household this weekend

It's not hard - but it does take a little bit to learn to get it right, and then lots of patience. I do quite big designs, with a lot of shading - and when you do that it's a real pain as almost every x is a different colour.
But I find it hugely rewarding. And I love the buzz I get when I give them to people. I do like being a bit creative, although part of me thinks it's not really creative, it's just following a pattern.0 -

Fingers crossed. CD11 is quite early, do you have short cycles or a long LP? I think I ov CD15 but as I said earlier I've not had many "normal" cycles since coming off the pill.

Sounds interesting  I may have to look into it. Although I should just get back into the knitting I was teaching myself. I stopped when I had my last mc because I was knitting booties for AlexI should finish them though ready for our forever baby as I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted them to go to waste

I like x stitch as it is a pattern and tells you exactly what to do when so you don't need to be creative. I find the hardest is trying to find a design which isn't a 'grandmother design' all chocolate box houses etc.
Your not rambling, as mentioned the night timers rambleIf you could let me know what the book is like when you have read it I would really appreciate it.

Will do. I'm going to try read quite a bit over the weekend while it's quiet and I have the time..... just need to drag myself away from here
How is your OH? Is work getting any easier or is everyone still carrying on as if nothing happened?

I gave up knitting because A. I'm not very good at it and B. I used to knit hats for premature babies and just don't feel like making them anymore. May return to it at a later date but not for a while.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
