    Welcome mintedby30

Have just skim read all the posts and not much time so hello everybody and big hugs to all feeling low today. 9 days until Christmas so I hope some of us are gearing up for Operation CC now!!

We just bought our Christmas tree and are going to decorate it tonight which I'm looking forward to. Also going to do some mulled wine :xmastree:

I'm CD10 tomorrow, trying to resist using OV sticks as I resolved not to so I don't get stressed if OV is on Christmas Day/Boxing Day when BD will be impossible.... So, instead, I have nice underwear and new razor blades (:rotfl:) at the ready and hoping to seduce DH every other day for the next week! Let operation CC commence...

I should point out... the razor blades are for my legs, not for any other purpose....!

Have a lovely evening all, really hoping for a big bumper crop of Christmas and New Year BFPs and 2012 babies for us all xxx

Hi all, been away for a few days as my internet was playing silly b*ggers, very annoying.

Have only skimmed the last couple of pages, as you lot chat far too much to catch up on everything!

So sorry to hear about your cat, sa-ra-ra-ra, I have 2 cats that are real members of the family, and I dread them getting run over. My childhood pet cat was run over and I was devastated - still cry now if I think too hard about it! ((hugs))

((hugs)) too to mrs happy, kitten, bigzippy and anyone else who needs one.

Chart's looking good, nicki - fingers crossed! What a great early xmas pressie that would be :)

I'm home alone tonight, DH is out with some colleagues. I had my work xmas do at lunchtime, got home about 6.30pm and feeling shattered so am curled up on the sofa with tv, internet, tea and my secret santa pressie - a box of chocolates....! :D

All xmas shopping done, and mostly wrapped, just a couple more to do. We are off to the in-laws on Sunday, then straight from there to America on Tuesday...exciting! We are there for xmas and home on the 30th. Will be a bit weird being away, just the two of us, over xmas, but hopefully it'll be lovely :)

Right-ho, off to catch up on all my emails, facebook, forums etc that I have missed the past few days!

    Take care everyone

    BB x

Really sorry to hear the news about OH's sperm count wasn't better mrshappy. Will you (or he) be referred to a Fertility Specialist do you think, or can you afford to do this yourself if not on the NHS due to your existing child? I found this link

    http://www.drkarenboyle.com/azoospermia.html

which suggests there are some options to explore to correct this problem which do not include adoption or donor insemination, which I know you aren't keen on. Depending on the reason for the problem, success rates can be quite high.

AFM. I gave in to temptation and tested with a FRER this afternoon, and BFN :( Looks like our hotel night the night before ov did not do the trick, and we missed ov day due to OH's attack. I guess I need to start planning operation NYE conception, and thinking about what I can enjoy on the food and drink front on Christmas Day.

  • Hi everyone, welcome to the newbies joining the thread, hugs for everyone feeling low and starting AF and a big wave to everyone else!!!

I am still none the wiser what is going on this cycle - I did another test this morning - BFN :( but then I found the one that I had done yesterday and there looked to be the faintest little tlp ever but because I left it so long Im thinking its more likely to be an evap line than anything else!
I was suffering from really bad cramps two nights ago which made me think AF was due yesterday as thats what usually happens but still nothing. Tonight Ive had strange fluttering in my tummy but Im trying not to SS for AF or PG as I just dont feel like any of them are going to come anytime soon!!

I have only been using ic's so am hoping to get to superdrug tomorrow morning and get one of theirs and see what that says - although if AF comes overnight it would save me a bit of money as I dont really relish the thought of another BFN!

Met my little niece for the first time today - only a week old and she is tiny!! So beautiful!! Weirdly though, I am surprisingly less broody than I usually am but than can only be a good thing right now!!
Today alone I have been told about 3 recent pregnancy announcements (not close friends, just friends of friends) and then about an hour ago, my cousin text me to say his wife is pg!! Normally Id be in tears by now and asking why it wasnt my turn but im quite upbeat!! Perhaps Im now getting used to this ttc lark - need to keep that stiff upper lip going until I finally get my bfp!!

Enjoying a small glass of wine tonight as just had a lovely meal with OH's family - got 2 more days of fun with the kids (babys older sister is just 18 months) - she is always on the go and quite hard work but actually really enjoying it!!! They are both very cute!! :rotfl:

I would put the first one down as its likely to be more accurate.

    xx

Even if I didnt move between those times?

Ive put in the first time as I also agree its prob more accurate, and now apparently I didnt ov. Which would seem more normal for me. so im now back to waiting.

On another note I got to hold a 17 day old baby today, so cute. My arms were realyl aching after a bit though :rotfl:

Make a note of the other temp in the notes section for today and see how your temps go over the next few days.
Have you been using OPKs or had any wet CM/EWCM that might give some other indication?

Maybe not especially if you have regular cycles and know when you ov.

I think a lot of people on here who use them either are unsure of their cycles or have irregular cycles.

I use them as I'm not 100% sure of my cycle. I've been off the pill since the end of march and since then have had two mc's so I haven't had very many "regular" cycles so I like to use them to make sure we are BDing at the right time.

    xx
Ah, ok, thank you, that makes sense!
