Trying for a Baby Part 7

Does anyone use Internet cheapie ovulation sticks? I ordered some but only used Clearblue smileys before. Are they any good?
I use them and they've always worked fine for me. I know some people have trouble with them but I've never had any problems.

Great, thanks. I just figured that they were much cheaper so will give it a go next week. When do you usually start testing? I have my predicted ovulation day as 25th so thinking maybe around the 22nd? I got a positive with Clearblue always the day after the predicted ov day.0

I usually ov on CD15 but I have been known to ov CD13 so I tend to start around CD10 as the cheapie OPKs don't cost that much and I don't want to miss the eggy if I ov early.

Hello everyone:wave:
Seems white Christmas may be a possibility for some:snow_laug
I've only skim read, as lots of things are happening now. I'm going to the hairdressers tomorrow before DH arrives:cool: Hopefully they'll do a good job and he'll be impressed (OK, so he won't notice:p).
Kitten, (((hugs))). Such a sad Christmas:(
maire,
Operation Conception Christmas:beer:
emsbet, well done on your bunting, very professional:T
Littlezee, your nerve pain sounds really awful (((hugs))):(
nicki, fingers crossed:cool:, when are you doing a proper test?:)0 -
Have a lovely time at the hairdressers tomorrow QQ - I'm sure DH will appreciate it.
Just had a look at the testing list, and there are so many of us testing around Christmas time! Lets hope this is a good omen, and that there are lots of BFPs.
Moon and I are off out to town in a few minutes as it's the last chance he's got to do some Christmas shopping before the big day. I'm struggling to come up with a present for my sister (26) - she asked for the Kelly Clarkson album (bought), but I need to get her something else too cos it's not very much. She lives in a tiny flat so not much room for home stuff, and although she said recently that she's into crafting at the moment, I'm not sure what type. Any ideas? Also got to get something for my Nana - her birthday is on Wednesday, so I've got her shortbread selection, turkish delight chocolates, and will get her flowers as well, but I've no idea what to get her for Christmas. She's 94 and is quite deaf, has Alzheimers and can't see very well due to cateracts. I got her a blanket last year for her bed, but no idea this year! She always gives us money.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
