Hi guys,
I'm hoping I can join you all?!
I have lurked on here for the last year and posted on the WTTC thread for a bit back in May/June.
Have followed a lot of your stories and the support you give one another is awesome!!
Anyway a bit about me, I'm 27, DH and I have been together for 9 years and have a 7 yo DD, we got married in Feb of this year and have been preparing to start TTC early next year. I had a massive list of things to do/ get out of the way before trying but TBH we'll be waiting forever to get all the boxes ticked so have decided to go for it now.
AF is due today so this cycle will be the first we are officially trying. I've never taken any hormonal contraceptive so know my cycles inside out, have also been using OPK's since April and I tend to be fairly textbook, 28 day cycle and have been having!+OPK's on anything from day 12-16 of my last 8/9 cycles.
So thats about as exciting as it gets, not very I'm afraid but I'm looking forward to starting the TTC journey.

Does anyone know what constitutes a triphasic chart? Is mine triphasic do you think, or am I imagining it. Where would FF indicate it if it thought it was?

Nicki your chart is very different this month to last. I do not know much about the triphasic. I looked at information about it which states that there are 3 thermal shifts in your temperature. Basically it keeps rising. Though it does state that it is not always a sign of pregnancy.
Found this though:
With a triphasic BBT chart pattern, there is a third, sustained upward shift in temperature, usually occurring around 9 days post-ovulation.
Since progesterone is the hormone that causes the upward shift in temperature at ovulation, the theory is that increased progesterone from pregnancy might cause another upward shift in temperature.

I'm struggling to come up with a present for my sister (26) - she asked for the Kelly Clarkson album (bought), but I need to get her something else too cos it's not very much. She lives in a tiny flat so not much room for home stuff, and although she said recently that she's into crafting at the moment, I'm not sure what type. Any ideas? Also got to get something for my Nana - her birthday is on Wednesday, so I've got her shortbread selection, turkish delight chocolates, and will get her flowers as well, but I've no idea what to get her for Christmas. She's 94 and is quite deaf, has Alzheimers and can't see very well due to cateracts. I got her a blanket last year for her bed, but no idea this year! She always gives us money.
There's also various sites with shops for people with memory/balance/mobility/grip issues, so they can be good inspiration too
