Hope you can get something sorted, MrsHappy, best of luck to both of you.

I am feeling very broody, lots of new arrivals about it seems, I want one (or two!)!
    :starmod:I'm a SAHM to a smiley snuggly adventurous cheeky bundle of b:male:y b.Oct10. :j
We're a vegan family. We do cloth nappies/wipes, dabble with ECing, use toiletries without parabens/SLS etc, co-sleep, baby-wear, BF, BLW, eco-ball laundry, and we plan to home educate (ideally not at home too much - we want to travel the globe).:starmod:

  • Kavics17 and AbFab - I don't drink either so my drink of celebration over Christmas will be a cup of tea (or a glass of Shloer if I really push the boat out!!) On the plus side no-one will suspect anything when we get our BFP's.

Welcome mintedby30?, I hope your stay is short and sweet (in the nicest possible way)

I had a lovely day off work yesterday, lazy morning and then Christmas shopping in the afternoon. DH and I decided on a limit for each others presents and that we couldn't spend a penny over or under, I had great fun (!) trying to find something for the last £1.31 :)

I was asked on Monday night if I was pregnant! It was in a jokey way and they have no idea we are ttc. I replied with "not that I know of", I had hoped the answer was yes but it was not to be. Roll on Operation CC :)

There seems to be a lot of people down at the moment so hugs to all that need them.

I have stocked up on Shloer when it was on two4one, but my favourite drink is soya chocolate milk (my taste buds never grew up!), I could drink gallons of that stuff! Glad you had a good day off. DH also had the day off, using up some annual leave, we have been watching festive movies, lovely. We aren't doing presents, we are saving for our next house, and I want to move more than I want any other stuff. :money::D

I *must* I *must* stop reading the pg threads!

It's quiet here tonight are you all getting your grove on in preparation for operation CC? ;)

    We're having a quiet weekend before Christmas/new year parties/gatherings.

I've been reading one of my mc books but I've had a glass and half of wine and I can't concentrate enough to take in what it's saying :o

Good Luck MrsHappy, I hope that things change in the new year. As was posted there are things that can be done so don't lose hope.

Evening Emsbet. what sort of book is it? (would it help OH's?)

We are preparing for CC, CD8 tomorrow so will start SMEP (not sure if meant to start CD8 or CD10 so will start on CD8 but not start OPKs until CD10) :)

Phoned the funeral home about Lincoln's name and they were mortified and have apologised and said they will get a new plaque made up asap (next week) I know I should probably be upset by it but as long as it gets sorted (mistakes can be made) its not really made it onto my stress radar :)

    Hi Emsbet,

I am lurking and just reading. Went to the gym tonight and was able to workout without pain, which was encouraging, and then out with a friend where we shared a fantastic bottle of red. Probably not a great idea, but I needed it to relax.

This weekend I have NOTHING to do! And I am so pleased about it. Tomorrow I will catch up on sleep, and probably a bit of lazy BD'ing if I am in the mood. :)

Only job is to finish my cross stitch (I know... very nerdy, but doing a big design at the moment, and have 2 on order!). The place I do framing in has a half price sale until Christmas, so I want to get it to them by next week.

Anyone else got a weekend plan that is duller than mine? And who are so happy to have such a quiet weekend!

Ohh, I am also doing a cross stitch and think it will take me a good year. I found a great supplier who turns your pictures into a design.

I have two books but I'm only about 1/3 through the first as I read on the train to work and I don't think it's suitable for that so trying to read it in the evenings.

This one is called "Miscarriage: what every woman needs to know." It's interesting and is written someone who runs a mc clinic and it's mostly about recurrent mc and it's causes. It's interesting and but quite scientific in its explanation. I am sometimes finding it useful but because I don't know why we lost our babies I'm also finding I'm focusing on the worst possible scenarios. :o Not sure how helpful this one would be to OHs
The second one I haven't started yet might be more helpful though. It's called "trying again: a guide to pg after mc, stillbirth and infant loss" I'll let you know what it's like when I've had a look.

You're one day behind me. If I remember I will start OPKs tomorrow ;)

I'm glad the funeral home are going to quickly send you a new plaque

    xx

P.S sorry if I'm rambling wine has that effect on me ;):o

Who do you use? I would love to do my own designs as I find the standard designs sometimes very twee or dull. But then I lose patience trying to find the perfect one and buy whatever I can find. Hence I have a lot of spare kits around!

We've had a lovely lazy couple of days, got a party tomorrow evening with DS, but that's it. Oh, and got to buy a new kettle :coffee: as our current one is broken, but that's it. Unless it snows, in which case we will be buying a sledge and finding a hill! :snow_grin
