Re broodyness, I love being with kids, but oddly I'm not that broody with them. I'm more interested, and think - oh would mine be more like him, or her, or sleep better, or worse... or be as nice to cuddle.. but I am happy to let them go. Except my nephews, who live a long way away, and I who I miss like nothing else!

I get broody but for me the babies are easier to handle than pg women :o

My nephews live 80 miles from us in our home town, I miss all three like crazy.

Evening all, DH came home after working away for week and has gone out for pre-arranged Christmas drinks with his friends. I had agreed to pick him and friends up from station tonight but just had a drunken call that their train has been cancelled and so now have to wait until 12.45 to pick him up and I am struggling to stay awake now!

Oh no! I'm terrible for trying to stay awake. Neck some strong coffee!

    Xx

Skintchick that headband sounds lovely! :)

    xx

    Thanks. :)

I'll post a piccie tomorrow cos I am sooooo proud of it; I also turned it a half twist to make it a mobius loop before I sewed it up, so it sits really nicely under your hair at the back. I'm a novice knitter and it took me two evenings to do including the little flower.

If anyone wants the pattern (which I made up apart from the flower) I can post it :)

My little nephews are in Sydney! I try to get there at least every 18 months, but so much changes in that time it's crazy. The boys are used to their various aunties and uncles appearing on Skype though, so they still know me. But... not quite the same and the feeling of a way little bodies give you the most wonderful hugs just doesn't quite work on skype.

I hope things get easier for him soon. I think sometimes it's harder or the man in the sense that everyone forgets about them when these things happen. I know my DH felt like this after our mc's, people would ask how I was but never ask him.

I am hoping things will get easier, just trying to feed him up and focus my attention on looking after him, hence all the cooking recently.;)
I do think of you, your OH and your boys often, which is daft isn't it as I don't know you in RL but I do :o
I know the feeling, I don't think it is daft, I think of you, your OH and Alex often. Even my OH knows about you :)

What's a little embarrassing is that the girls on this board are those who I am closest to at the moment. :o you guys probably know more about me and what is going on than my close family.
