Trying for a Baby Part 7

I have seen loads that I want for a future nursery, including the mr men numbers/abc pictures.
I was also thinking if these go well then I will get a cross stitch of the boys (including DH) done so I can turn it into a cushionBut I am getting a little ahead of myself.

I'm wondering about doing that open handed one as a sort of "before" (and hopefully the second one later as an "after") - it's sort of a gamble though, because it'll either be cathartic and therapeutic, or it'll be remindingly upsetting...
Before that though, I need to finish DNephew's rag rug and a cross-stitch featuring dogs for MIL that I was going to give her as a present about 4yrs ago!
P.s. I LOVE the Mr Men/Little Miss stuff
Btw, QQ, I'm aware that everyone's cases are different, but as a rough guide, how much would you think IVF might cost privately? (I'd also understand if you'd rather not day)

If you are under 35 and fit a certain criteria (enough eggs) there's egg sharing scheme which is much cheaper.
If I were you, I'd go for Clomid for 3 cycles first. It wouldn't be that expensive if you go for unmonitored (no scans) version. With the right dose, it'll at least make you ov:o0 -

emsbet, did the mc book say anything about D-dimer? I was told mine was a bit high at 400 (it should be lower than 300), and was told not to take the pill:huh: Never heard of it until last Monday:shocked: I wonder if I will have to take heparin or baby aspirin?
Not seen anything but I'll have a looksie later and let you know.

Hey people, haven't looked in for a while as been a bit busy.
Just been on FB this morning and 3 of my friends have declared their good news. Very happy for them but has made me reeeeally jealous! Prob is, OH and I are barely BD so we've got no chance at the mo! We've never been a "3 times a night couple" more like 3 times a month, which has worked for us. But with work being really stressful for OH its been more like nothiing times a month. Argh! I know it won't last but it's been ages now and as I'm complaning it's becoming a bit of a thing!
Sorry, rant over! Hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm off to bottle up my sloe gin and ice my mini christmas cakes for my hampers.0 -
Evening all, DH came home after working away for week and has gone out for pre-arranged Christmas drinks with his friends. I had agreed to pick him and friends up from station tonight but just had a drunken call that their train has been cancelled and so now have to wait until 12.45 to pick him up and I am struggling to stay awake now!
Was it really cancelled - or did the drunks just miss it?? :rotfl:Kitten_Pie wrote: »I am hoping things will get easier, just trying to feed him up and focus my attention on looking after him, hence all the cooking recently.;)
I know the feeling, I don't think it is daft, I think of you, your OH and Alex often. Even my OH knows about you
What's a little embarrassing is that the girls on this board are those who I am closest to at the moment.you guys probably know more about me and what is going on than my close family.
No one (other than OH) knows we are TTC so I can't imagine this journey without having my 'virtual friends' to discuss it with - love you all! I do think it's strange though as we must all lead such different lives, different values etc. that in reality it's unlikely that we would be friends in RL. Oh yes - and the fact we are spread far & wide.:beer:3 of those little bottles. He just got up to change the DVD and I thought awwww look at those grandad slippers, man I love that nerd
Do you never just look at your OH and think, bloody hell I love you?!
xx
Yes - fortunately far more often than I think 'you're driving me mad!) :rotfl:
Q - enjoy the time with OH. Give him a hug from us all for being a top bloke to make the journey.
Hope everyone has a great weekend & they don't have to visit the shops! It will be crazy out there.0 -

Very true! A lot of my friends in RL know I've used this site before when we were wedding planning, two know I use it for this, but most of them think forums are a bit weird and don't understand why you'd chat to strangers. I have to say if I hadn't have found this thread then plucked up the courage to join I really think I would have struggled these last 9months or so. You ladies (and gents when there have been some) have really helped me through some of the most difficult times I've ever had to endure and I'm so grateful to you all.
Yes - fortunately far more often than I think 'you're driving me mad!) :rotfl:
That's good thenMy DH drives me nuts sometimes as any person you live with will inevitably, but other times I just want to grab him and hug him and never let go because he is so wonderful.

Yes QQ give Mr QQ big squishes from all of us for being awesomeHope it all goes well tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great weekend & they don't have to visit the shops! It will be crazy out there.
We went to Tesco last night so we didn't have to go this weekend which is good but I forgot to get biscuits!!!!Oh well I could do without snacking for a few days
Took my temp this morning and it had sky rocketed more than likely due to the wine (and crabbies) last night so I have discarded it. I don't feel like I've ov'd so I'm sure that's what it was.

I just came back from GP, need to go for a blood test next week at one point. She also wants me to have a smear test next Sat though my next one is only due next Dec? She was very vague why so keep wondering. She also recommended to take Fish Oil as well as Pregnacare. Is it normal? I thought if I take Pregnacare than I won't need anything additional?
Busy weekend for us, my brother will come soon and we put up the Xmas tree! Yeah!0
