Wow, i've learnt some random stuff on this thread but the fact that sperm is already 72 days old tops the bill!

    72 days!

My future child could be a tadpole right now!

Thanks Claire C too - that helps in my head

Speaking as a man (You asked for insight)

I think you should start talking to your child at the earliest possibility even if they're still with dad. Try talking and tickling and if that doesnt work they like humming!

    Hello people.

    Random thought for the day.

How many months are you actually pregnant for. Don't laugh, I know it's 9 - but 9 months from now is the beginning of Aug - or are you pregnant for the 9th month and the baby might get born at the beginning of Sept. Anyone know?!

Can you tell I have too much time on my hands at work today! Lot easier with the animals I work with - Pigs are 3 months, 3 weeks and 3 days - exactly. Never deviate.

As far as I have seen its 40 weeks from the start of your last period if you have a 28 day cycle. If you have a different cycle length then its slightly different e.g. I tried to work out my "due date" if I catch the eggie this cycle. I have a 38 day cycle and the due date was 40 weeks after CD11 (10 days after CD1 as I have 10 days "extra" in my cycle). I hope this makes some sense as I am not sure it does! Btw this was according to the NHS website.
