I've failed this month. We haven't even BD'd yet. It's hard enough at the best of times due to lack of libido, but with a daughter it's just so much harder! I prefer to BD in the morningbut we can't now. And at night I'm too scared of waking her up
I value my sleep too much.
:o:o I think I'm CD 11 or 12 so still time. If things go back to how they were before then I should ov day 14/15.
Sounds like you still have time.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Morning all, af is due Friday and I think it's on it's way as I started to get a migraine last night on drive home from work which was horrible. Made it home and went straight to bed but still have it this morning and it is right accross my right eye which is really unpleasant. It is quite common for me to get a migraine a few days before af and they normally last a few days so think I am out this month
just feel like it is never going to happen for me but will go to doctors once af starts as we have been trying for over two years now
Hugs to all who need them x0 -

((hugs)) I hope AF doesn't arrive but if she does maybe a visit to the doctors is a good idea. Sometimes just getting the ball rolling for investigations can help people relax enough to concieve.
I hope your migraine goes soon.
Where was everyone last night? I log on this morning expecting ss and plans for world domination and there was nothing!
I've got the day off today and my mum, two sisters and one nephew are meeting me in Manchester to do some shopping :j On the downside I've woken up with DH's cold this morning.

Morning all,
Just in response to the how many weeks thing...
It's basically 280 days (40 weeks) from CD1, based on a 28 day cycle, and ovulating on CD14. Because I didn't ov until CD36 on my BFP cycle, I counted forwards 38 weeks from ovulation day. I explained this to my midwife, and she agreed with me.
Besides, she said that they don't take an awful lot of notice of dates calculated from LMP anymore, they work on the basis of the dating scan at 12 weeks.

Those with * sometimes uses conceive plus/preseed.

Good morning, last day of November:wave:
Have briefly reminded DH about IVF this morning, and told him to think about it (obviously he's forgotten until now:mad:).
TTC40, re opening conceive plus at work! Did anyone see you?
Time2deal, (((hugs))) re muscle pains. Are you working towards something?
Snowy, My baby stopped at around 10 weeks, so it was about the same (((hugs))).
Skintchick, fingers crossed you caught the eggy, and it's a sticky one:)
Kitten_pie, sticky baby dust looks like this:cool:
Littlezee, I had HSG, didn't hurt at all, easier than a smear, but you may need to move from one side to the other. But I know it is not the case with everyone. I've read lots of horror stories:shocked:
Good thing is, one will be more fertile after HSG:cool:
(((Hugs))) for insensitive people who make assumptions.
Primmer, (((hugs))). Hope AF doesn't come:)
emsbet, have a great time in Manchester:wave:
BB1984, how are you!:wave:0 -
QQ - you might want to put me down at 0DPO today - but I'm not entirely sure...:o
1. I've had two positive opks for the last two days - today, there isnt even a hint of a line so I think if ov is occurring this month it's today.
2. According to FF, I havent ov'ed at all but then can I rely on my temps that much this month when its my first month and I've not been that reliable with testing?
3. If my temps ARE to be believed then I might not have even ov'ed this month which makes me think I might NOT have ov'ed over the last few months when I've just been using opkson their own.
I'm sorry if I always seem a bit moany and confused when I post on here - I just feel really frustrated with myself that I am 32 years old and I totally dont understand the way my body works and even though I've been studying it for over the last 6 months I am still struggling!!
I always knew that it might take a while once we started but I never thought I would get so frustrated as I do. I dont think it helps that my OH put it off for a bit longer than me convincing himself that we could get pg the first month of trying - because he thought it was that easy!!
And then every month when it doesnt happen he looks seems so disappointed!!
I've always tried to be realistic and try and keep his feet on the ground by saying 'yes I would love a baby but you know it doesnt happen for everyone' - and he always says 'it will happen for us, dont worry'. I know he's only trying to make me feel better but it makes me feel worse knowing that if it never happened for us, then he would be so sad.
It doesnt help that I am going to see an old friend of mine tonight who always told me (from the age of 21...), that "I want a baby when I'm 28"... She got married at 26 or 27 and then 1 day after her 28th birthday, she gave birth to her 1st daughter!! Well executed plan or what!
I'm off round to see the 2nd baby tonight. She's always been the friend that I've told everything and although I've not seen her for a while, I'm worried that the situation is just going to make me cry at her!!!
Sorry for the epic post.... just needed to get it out of my system before I get to work - hope you dont mind.
Hope everyone else is full of PMA today - might help me boost myself up by the end of the day!!!0 -
Sorry you are feeling low today squirrel
CD8 for me today and my first CBFM high. I am cautiously hopeful I may get my peak before DH decamps for his week away.0 -
Morning all,
Hugs for squirrel and others who are feeling low.
I'm off today too (supply teachers aren't allowed to cover the strike action, so no work for me). Moon is also off today, so we're going shopping in Southampton today. I think we're going to leave it until mid afternoon, so hopefully the shops won't be quite so crowded (I imagine that the shops will do well today).
AF still here, so no BDing for us for another week.
Last night I met a family who answered my ad for a babysitter on gumtree, so I start working there this Saturday. They seem really nice, and it'll be another bit of income for me that'll go towards baby things. They want me to occasionally pick up their children from school a couple of days a week too, as the mother isn't able to get home from work in time (she's a consultant at a clinic - unfortunately not gynae though). They have a gorgeous Bengal cat too, who absolutely loved me and sat on my lap (he never sits on people's laps normally, so it was a little bit embarassing).
Anyway, enough of my waffling on.
Successful babydancing to all at that stage, hugs to those who've just been visited by AF or the blues, and patience to those in the 2ww.
