    ((hugs)) Tink

I'm currently having strong ov pain. I don't think DH is fussed about BDing tonight though and I'm so very tired I'm not sure I have the energy to be all sexy to entice him :o

I was looking at my chart and I had really strong ov pain the day AFTER ov when I got my last BFP so I'm hoping the same is true this time as we BD'd yesterday morning so that would be well timed!

I'm going to try have my wicked way with DH later - wish me luck ;)

    xx

    Good evening ladies,
Welcome newbies :) My memory is playing up a bit tonight and I'm having bother remembering names, so please be patient with me!

dj-as others have been saying -go for it with the job! My manager recently suggested I apply for a promoted post and I didn't, ttc is only part of why I didn't and I'm kicking myself about it already!

Hugs tink, I have days when I feel like a skivvy at home, between mrhappy, the stroppy teenager and the cat

emsbet-my thoughts about your counselling is to maybe give it another shot and see how you feel, if you're not comfortable with the environment could mr emsbet go along with you and go for a coffee nearby while you are in? I wouldn't worry too much about the qualifications bit, she will probably have lots of experience, and if she feels a bit out of her depth she will tell you and get some supervision-my job involves a fair amount of listening/counselling skills, and although i have not had any formal training I'm told I'm a very good listener. When I attended a counseller myself (my mum had just been diagnosed with cancer amongst other things going on) I found that just saying things out loud made them easier to deal with and rationalise and manage.

Anniversary presents (can't remember who was asking) For our first anniversary I got mrhappy a share for his fave football club and framed it. He now thinks he is running the club and gets invited to their AGM which makes him feel big :rotfl: Our 2nd anniversary is coming up, which is cotton, and he is getting a t-shirt which says "trophy husband since 2009" on it.

good luck to everyone who is around ov and planning on hubby jumping this evening-I am home alone as he is working away :( So me and my almost EWCM will have an early night! Seems as though the grapefruit juice and cough bottles have done their jobs!
mrhappy has his doctors appointment tomorrow and we will find out what was abnormal about his SA. I will not stress about it as he is stressing enough for both of us, which is quite difficult for me to deal with as he is usually so laid back :(

As always, massive hugs to anyone who needs one x

ETA-Nicki, your posts are always so thoughtful and well said-you manage to get things across so clearly and sensitively, I just wanted to say a special thanks!

Thanks for your input. I think I'm going to go next week and give it another chance.
Mr Emsbet can't come as the place is in Manchester on a weekday and he works in Liverpool.

Aww thanks :o It's getting better, slowly but surely. My DH is wonderful and his love, care and support helps me immensely. I just have to keep plodding on and hoping the next day is better and easier than the last.
We'll get there in the end and get our forever baby and then I'll know that it's all been worth it.

Oh I forgot to say before- good lucky for Mr Happy's appointment tomorrow. Hopefully it's a relatively simple problem that can be easily fixed.

    xx

  • Hi Everyone - Thanks for all the welcomes :)

QQ, thanks for the offer of putting me on the lists. But in answer to your question about my CD....your guess is as good as mine! I have no idea what it is, I dont even think I have a cycle! (is that even possible???).

I'm so confused about everything it's unreal. I think the first thing I have to start doing is losing weight, decided I am going to join Weight Watchers on Monday. I just hope losing even a wee bit of weight will help to kick start my periods again :o

Hope everyone else is doing ok :)

I'm sure you will get there in the end, I had no idea that ttc would be such a difficult and stressfull emotional rollercoaster!
Thanks for the good luck for tomorrow, I also hope it's something simple :p I'm going to the doctors with him, so I know what she says rather than get the mrhappy version of what she says :rotfl: Yes, I am a control freak! :)
  • Sorry, meant to also ask...is there ANYTHING I can do (apart from losing weight) that might help to kickstart my cycles?
