  • I was just having a look at that Agnus Castus stuff on Holland & Barrett website. Noticed they have a liquid version so tempted to try that cos I cant take tablets. Suppose anythings worth a punt!

  • Jen. Ive just finished work & it'll be an hour or more before I get home. Then I've got to mess about shaving my legs etc  then wake him up to dtd. So I'm in a bad mood, he'll be in a just woken grumpy mood. The dogs going to wonder what all the commotion is and might start barking the place down - then we've both got to leave early in the morning. The joys!!

    sexymouse, (((hugs))) for your cold.
tinkwings, (((hugs))), but this is not the time to be annoyed by your DH;) I'd let it go until ov is well and truly gone:cool:
I love holidays, hope the clomid is working, you are still early for ov at CD10, so don't worry too much about cm:o 1.5l sounds perfect:cool:
    (((Hugs))) for your work:o
MrsHappy, a share for his football club is brilliant, much better than a book DH never read, or a M&S shirt with nothing interesting on it:rotfl:
Does one need to get anything for the third anniversary?:o
Good luck at the doctors tomorrow:o
Secretdebts, injections?:rotfl: Do you mean like artificial insemination? Did I ever tell you DH took 2hrs to produce his sample, and was late for work?:o
Dreamer_me, let us know when you get your next AF (period), and we'll put you on the Team Sticky list:)
Good luck with losing weight, but the first thing is to BD (you never know, you may be oving!):j

There are several ways to kickstart cycles (agnus castus etc), the one that works for me is exercise focusing on abs (20 sit-ups on the bed is enough).

Easiest way is to go to your doctor, and ask for something to kickstart AF (usually something like provera/norethisterone for 10 days, then AF starts 3 days later).
mrsj28, how was your birthday, and where is your reindeer?

Evening all, hope you all well.

DJ, good luck with the possible new job, I hope they email back and answer all the questions you have.

Emsbet, I really struggled with counselling especially the first session but after the 2nd i was a lot more comfortable talking, I also felt a bit more closer to the counsellor so was able to talk freely.

Good luck to everyone trying to seduce their OHs tonight. Personally I am enjoying the break lol but don't tell OH.

My OH is going to buy me a basal thermometer but should I be getting one in celcius or fahrenheit?

Also, what cough mixture can I get from either Sainsbury's or Morrisons. I know what the ingredients are i am supposed to look for but I am still struggling to find the right one.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

 nah I meant a real injection - they solve everything else. We could just go for an injection of something everyday during ov instead of having to get ohs involved

Ikkle. It's a chesty cough one you are looking for. There is more than one option with the right ingredient but they are all in the chesty cough range. Choose the one with the flavouring you like best, as some of them are foul. I use a menthol flavoured one (I think it might be benelyn but not completely sure as I've tried a few different ones)

Because it thins all body fluids including CM which makes it easier for sperm to swim upwards and helps it survive a bit longer. Thick CM is hostile to sperm and kills it quickly and stops it reaching the cervix.
  • Hi, can I join you ladies please? I have followed MSE for years but never plucked up the courage to post. Now that we are ready to ttc I would love to have some likeminded ladies to share my journey with - no one apart from my doctor knows we are ttc (well apart from DH obviously!!). I am so excited (but also scared silly) so here goes .........Definitely blonde (32) #1 11/11.
I came off the pill last October to let AF settle and so far have had cycles of between 28 and 45 days!

I really hope you don’t mind me joining in

I've often thought about getting a different job, at the moment I only work part time on a bar in the evenings, OH works in the day long shifts. We did talk about me going and getting my NVQ in childcare as that's what I would really like to do, but while we are trying we decided to stay as we are. My place may not be perfect, and the maternity leave will practically be non-existant (well just the manditory amount) but it will mean in the long term both us will be able to work and not need childcare.

Trying to get the OH to book a sperm test at the doctors and its like pulling teeth. He had mumps as a toddler in 'that' area. He went for a Sperm test about 7 years ago and had a lower sperm count then, but would like him to go for another just to find out what's happening at the moment.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.
