  • Morning all!

First off - **HUGS** to bigz, you're having a bad time of it at the moment. I hope this is all the **it hitting the fan at once, and it'll all be over soon :)

Well, you all asked for a pole dancing update :D

Today is the first day that I have been able to type without pain! My shoulders, arms and bum are absolute agony - combined with my abs from laughing so much. The class was an absolute scream and we had so much fun.

Unfortunately, my stupid stupid job means that I have to be away next Monday, so I have to wait 2 weeks to go back :( BOOOOOOO.

Why does TTC make everything complicated? I used to love my job, but it's really crap at the minute. Grump. The only redeeming feature is the maternity benefits - come ON BFP, so I can leave!!

It's my birthday on Saturday and AF is also due, so it'll either be a really good or really bad day :p

I had my highest ever temp this morning, but have no symptoms whatsoever. *Don't read anything into it, don't read anything into it, don't read anything into it*

Right, must tackle my enormous pile of pain-in-the-!!!! emails.

    Hugs all,
    dj xxx

I'm feeling like that at the moment too - I'm bored in my current job (and there are NO extra maternity benefits!) but I don't want to move companies because I don't want to have to stop trying - I'd probably end up getting a BFP after I handed my notice in! Also, it looks really bad if you announce a pregnancy shortly after starting somewhere. So I'm sort of stuck here now.

I've been feeling like this for about 6 months, and then I got my first BFP so there was an end in sight, which made it OK, but that one didn't work out and I feel like I'm back to the drawing board - 6 months down the line and nothing has changed. I would be fine coming back here after mat leave as I would have a different selection of clients and new challenges, but right now nothing is going to change.

Plus it's only about 15 minutes away from my house, and the people here are nice, so it's easy to stay. I'm just bored. I think I'm going to reassess after Xmas - there's no point in bringing it up now or trying to make any changes, as nothing will happen before then anyway.

Hmph. Also, no news ttc, CD4 and I think AF is easing up - it's been much heavier than last month, but not as painful. Strange.

BigZ, glad your appointment seemed to go OK even if it is all going to take a while for anything to happen - at least it's all started now.

Emsbet, hurrah, you've joined the sparkly Christmas Reindeer club! I saw my mum last night and she just rolled her eyes at me when I told her how much I loved it. Sometimes I think she doesn't take me seriously.

Mishka, sorry for CD1 - how long was your cycle in the end?

Secretdebts, I know nothing about babies, at all. I think I've only spent about an hour of my adult life holding one, and I don't really know how they work. It's ok though, DH has done it before (I have a stepson), so I'm relying on him. I've been around since he was 2.5, so I'm ok for the toddler years, it's just getting them to that point I'm a bit concerned about!

Aless, I hope your TLP turns into a BFP for you soon - try a digi, they're very definitive!

OK, non-ttc question for everyone - It's my 1 year wedding anniversary soon, which is paper. What the hell do I get for DH?!

On th upside my new shiny cbfm turned up yesterday so I might know better from next month if I've not caught it this month!
Fingers crossed you caught it this month:)
Erm .... I also spent an hour or two wondering around mothercare & mamas & papas yesterday (is that bad)? & realised that I know nothing about babies & what they might need
    I do that sometimes:o
    I have no idea either:p

((hugs)) my first cycle after my first mc was a really short one - 21 days I think.

I still don't feel like I'm the least bit interested in Christmas this year but I'm trying to force myself :o

How about a photo album of pictures from your first year as a married couple? Or some tickets to some event he might like to go to? Sorry short on ideas at the moment....

Hi Sa-ra-ra-ra, it was our first anniversary last year and I got tickets for a gig for my husband, they were made of paper!! This year was cloth and I had no idea what to do..... so bought a bottle of bubbly instead!! It's hard to find ideas for all the different anniversaries!

Back to ttc... I know I am in very very early stages of ttc (first month after coming off the pill), but had a lot of ewcm on Tuesday and boobs very swollen today. Does that mean anything? I'm wondering if I might have OV'd, I guess time will tell when I get first AF.

Hugs to all on here - you all seem such a friendly bunch! :j

Rubbish, isn't it? And then you think, well, if I'd moved jobs when I first thought about it I'd have the job I want AND I'd be OK for a BFP. Grrrrr. I'm sure you'll get your BFP really soon and then you can be bored with a deadline in mind :)

How about a book or a lovely wedding album for your DH?

  • This is my 2nd AF after loosing baby, first was 30 this one was 23. Im normally pretty consistent around the 28 day mark.

Its real bad timing at the moment as husband has a cold, he is normally a bit of a moaner about it but this one is fierce so he is in a full blown foul mood, add in my PMT and its great round here at the minute ;) worse thing is that I know I will get it next week and he will be totally uncaring and tell me I am exaggerating it all !!!

Now off for lunch at my DS1 school for 'take your parents to lunch' week, roast beef with the works - yum !!
