I will use CBFM, OPK, grapefruit juice & cough mixture this cycle - anything else I should try ?

    I would BD too :D.......

Seriously, perhaps try tweaking your and DH's diet, within your new healthy eating habits of course, to encompass red meat no more than once a week, fish once a week at least, and as little processed food as you can manage. A good fertility friendly multi vit for you and him. There is also evidence to say that moderate exercise helps fertility. Doesn't have to be a marathon, a brisk 20 minute walk at lunchtime would do the trick if you aren't used to anything more vigourous.

But, of course if I knew all the answers or even most of them I'd be pregnant myself right now :(. Sometimes it just takes as long as it takes.

    Can I come play too?
I got married in April and had a surprise pregnancy which unfortunately ended in miscarriage in June/July. Was trying straight away afterwards with Temp tracking but husband got freaked out and we stopped. We decided that we wanted to save up for a house first but we're torn as both really want a child so we've compromised at BD every 2-3 days like the NICE guidelines (such a geek) and seeing what happens.
On CD28 of a 35 day cycle, although once after the mc it was 38 days.
BD plan is going well and we've BD the day before all three guesses of OV (when app says, 14 days before AF expected and 10 days before AF expected as BBT showed me cycle after mc) so I'm optimistic

Really want it to happen this month as we'll have time for the 6 week scan we've been promised before we tell people on the big day if all is ok. Symptom spotting like crazy, getting lots of cramps and feeling nauseous when my tummy is empty, think the ladies are sore too but my hormones have been out of whack since the mc so i know it's probably just insane PMS

Good luck to you, hope we're all graduates soon :) x x

 Welcome to the thread! I'm so sorry for your loss and will keep my fingers crossed you've caught that eggy this month.
I've read back through the posts (boy does this thread move fast) & I've seen people mention grapefruit juice - what's this meant to do? Sorry if this is a silly question :o
    x x

Grapefruit juice can help to increase the amounts of EWCM (egg white cervical mucus which is the most fetile kind of CM). You drink it I think from CD3ish (although I usually drink mine from CD1) until you ov.

Bloody men! DH came home last night and we were talking about this trip to India. He had originally said he was going on Wednesday, which will be Cd14 for me but I often ovulate on CD12 so although not thrilled was ok about that. Last night he announced he was going to book his flight for Tuesday morning as his first meeting is actually on Wednesday morning. When I expressed concern, he said we could always do the deed when it gets back (a week later!) as it's not like we only had 24 hours after ovulation!!!!! Honestly, I really give up. We have had fertility treatment spanning about 6 years, where we did numerous monitored cycles, and also had IUI twice where timing was crucial. How in hell has he got to this stage with not even a basic knowledge of female fertile windows. When I explained to him that the egg lived for between 12 and 24 hours and the fertile window per month was usually a maximum of 3 days he was genuinely gob smacked. Men!!!!!!!!

((hugs)) I honestly think that they only remember what they want to remember. My DH is the same, he is such an intelligent man but he can't get his head around the fact that there is only a small window of opportunity each month to catch the eggy. Also each time I've got my BFP he's had no clue that I was a point in my cycle to begin thinking about testing.

    xx

    Good morning folks:wave:

    Littlezee, (((hugs))).
Lap & dye is the top test for checking everything internal. I haven't had it done, only done HSG to check the tubes.

5 months is a long time to wait, but hopefully you'll get a BFP before that:o

Hope your MIL is OK, I hate not knowing when and waiting:(
Secretdebts, so can we call it 0DPO today?
emsbet, re glandular fever and lumber puncture:eek:
TTC40, I think you are taking most things possible:p
I think the next thing is to relax, which I know is almost impossible:o
The idea is to let the blood flow to your uterus during ovulation & 2ww.
aless, :j on your stronger TLP!
I know you were TTC from July, it's on the list on the front page:p
Many people get BFP on their 1st cycle, (and I was one of them which ended in mc), and I wish everyone that:)
    The next verse, that's an early 2DPO! Hope it's a super eggy!:j
    TeamLowe, welcome:wave:
I've added you to the list on the first page, let me know if you'd like your age added, and things changed etc:)
(((Hugs))) for your mc, there's few of us here unfortunately:(
    When are you testing?
Let's hope your forever baby is in there cooking:)
Nicki, my DH is the same:mad:. Perhaps I should get a poster of female cycles and hang it on the wall?

Secretdebts, so can we call it 0DPO today?

:undecided. Who knows :rotfl: I think it may be 1DPO, but I wouldn't bet the house on it. I'll do a few more OPKs today & if they're all totally a blank test line then I think I definitely ov'd yesterday. I hope I did because then bd would gave been well timed. If I get strongish lines again then I'll be confused again.

On th upside my new shiny cbfm turned up yesterday so I might know better from next month if I've not caught it this month!

Erm .... I also spent an hour or two wondering around mothercare & mamas & papas yesterday (is that bad)? & realised that I know nothing about babies & what they might need (hoping the pg threads on here are quite informative when we get to them).
    Prov1 £3392 - Aqua £1136 Vanquis £1500, HM £21, Barclays £680 Payday Loans - £1000 Mother - £770

    Total debt exc mortgage - [STRIKE]£11857[/STRIKE]] £10092.37 . :wall: Savings Pot - £22.50. :o

There are lots of knowledgeable ladies on the pg threads. There are always people on there who are further along than you or are pg with their 2nd/3rd/4th etc.
I do happen to have a list of things that one might need that I copied from a post on the 12-24 week thread when I was on there :o I can send you a copy either now, if you want to have a looksie or when you have your BFP :)
