Good luck for testing today BZ, fingers crossed for you.:)

Hello Euro! Cake sounds lovely! :)

Oh yes, good luck BZ! :D

Hi Colli! The cake is gorgeous! There's butter icing in the middle, and normal icing on the top and the cake mix is made with dark chocolate too! We always make the same one now. And this was the first time that we were finally able to make it with all the correct ingredients. Takes a while to find things in Dutch. But it's much better with caster sugar than just normal sugar.

Ohh yes, caster sugar = basterd suiker! :rotfl::rotfl:

Alright, I best go back to lurkdom and do some work too! lol
Now work are asking me to make it on Thursday evening, and bring it into the office on Friday to share for my B'day! :rotfl::rotfl:

Cook dinner naked, or in just your undies. All that visual stimulation should make him keen! :D:p;)

No bacon butties or anything where I'd be likely to get fat splash though :rotfl:. he'd probably be more interested in the food than getting it on with me at the moment :D

Oh God yes, be wary of the fat/oil splash! That stuff hurts! :rotfl:

Ah, I'm sure he wouldn't! But also make sure that the meal isn't too heavy, so he doesn't get lethargic after eating it! ;)

I'm sooo peed off because I haven't ovulated yet!! My body seems incapable of getting me pregnant and now it's incapable of doing the most basic of tasks ... GRRR!!! I had perfectly timed sex for a 13/14 day ovulation. Maybe I'm just not going to ovulate this cycle ... Had a good cry in the shower I am soooo frustrated! No time for sex this morning as I have to go out and hubby to work. Known my luck I will have ovulated during the day and it will be too late to have sex tonight though. I hate this game with a passio. I really really do...

If you do ovulate during the day the spermies still might last til then anyway? Dont give up hope! I just looked at your chart and maybe your temp will go up tomorrow.

I know I have no right to moan compared what is happening to others on this board. And I feel guilty as hell crying about it even. Goodness get a grip you stupid cow you have perfect cycles for goodness sake. I will not cry ... I will not cry ...

If I ovulate for my temperature to go up today then i've no hope as i've not had a filling since 3am sunday morning.

Looking at everyones posts has made me realise how lucky I am with my DH. He does make a little exhausted face at me when I told him we are BDing every other day for the next 12 days, but I think secretly he loves it! or, when he really is tired, I have to say hes never not got on with it when Ive told him well Im tired too but its tough :rotfl:.

Hes just been for a weekend away and so came back pawing at me and I said sorry Im off to work - and then he fell asleep on the sofa haha. I guess as I told him to make sure he was awake when I got back!

It is interesting though because a while ago a thread came up about how much s*x people have and some people who were not ttc, were doing it like every day, or twice a day. So its kind of interesting that it seems everyone on this thread, including myself, does it no where near that amount. I think Id fall over with exhaustion!

On another note, Ive always wanted to plan having a baby that came at the start of the school year, or at least not at the end anyway. But getting pregnant in the next 2 months would mean that would happen. But Ive pretty much come to the conclusion that well what if this was the only month, for whatever reason, that I could get pregnant, then theres no way Im putting it off.

It just reminded me of this as I just saw them talking about this on the tv

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2055881/August-babies-likely-leave-school-16-binge-drink-suffer-bullying.html

I know when I was at school I always felt sorry for the kids born in august. Because when we got to 6th form I had passed my driving test before theyd even had their birthday!! And one of my friends always got a bit left out because she couldnt come to the pubs and clubs with us (well she could but had a nightmare of a time getting in, and this was before the days of IDing everyone who looks under 25!).

I think theyve altered the school age now so your child can atleast start with the others who are born before Christmas, which wasnt the case when I was younger. And most people in the top sets at school did also seem to be the ones born earliest.

Also, someone I know had a baby due in October, but it came in August! So I guess theres never a guarantee anyway.

    What does everyone else think?

I thought sperm could live for up to 5 days?? You will be ok if they can! And you could try to Bd later today as you could ovulate tonight?

Rebekah, sweetie, take a deep breath and try to relax. I know you want this to happen asap (who doesn't?), but you are still only on your 5th or 6th cycle (I think), so I really don't think you need to worry about 'if' it will happen. Rather just a case of 'when'.

I know it's small comfort, but it will happen when the time is right. Took my sister a year, took my brother 2 years (they then fell pregnant with twins 9 months after the first was born!) etc so just keep reminding yourself of that. It's not 'if', it's 'when'.

If you ovulate today, some of those spermies may still be able to find the eggy. And you can jump on your OH tonight too!

    ((HUGS))
