We also talked about possibly not using the monitors etc for a month or two, and just DTD when we feel like it, but I told him that it wouldn't happen in that case due to my virtually zero sex drive. I just feel really guilty and like there's something wrong with me cos this can't be normal. :(

This could so be me! I said that same. There is no way we could just say leave it to happen naturally as we just wouldn't have sex!!
I lie there rolling my eyes at the ceiling whilst he does his thing. Gets off props me up and then he wants me to come. And if you orgasm you will propel them swimmers into your uterus much quicker. So whilst im proped up I get him to finish me off manually. A) It sends them on their way better and B) It passes 10 or so minutes!! C) Makes him feel better that I have orgasmed.

Did you ever have any form of sex drive?

Am I imagining it or was it on this post someone came back from their holiday and found out their in-laws had cleaned or redecorated or something along those lines and found a rabbit under the bed and were mortified?? Cant remember who it was now hehe!

    Um, that was me!:o

Although having said that I still have bd issues myself, although alcohol seems to get rid of them, its not very ttc friendly to drink too much, or for tipsy bd (although it does seem to work for teenagers!)

    Hugs Sexymouse, have pm'd you.

Well, exciting (nonttc) news, have my new house keys and work starts tomorrow AND now start my degree on Monday (eek!)

Non exciting (TTC) news, spots and cramps arrived yesterday, spotting today so I am def out, think not going to happen now until next year with all of the DIY we need to do before we move.

OH, funny thing. DH has had man flu, but on Wed night I grumbled a bit about lack of BDing (he has been ill for a couple of weeks). Woke up at god knows what time to find him dry humping me and nuzzling my neck, was half asleep and asked what he was doing, he replied 'what you wanted', then rolled over and went to sleep! :rotfl::rotfl:, he doesn't know what was going on either!

Congrats Rich and Dovetail, great BFP month!

When I was a teenager (Moon and I got together when I was just 19), I had quite a high sex drive, but this disappeared around the time I was doing my dissertation at uni cos I was stressed. I also gave up alcohol too in my second year of uni, so maybe I should do what Gemma is doing and go and get tipsy a bit more often. After all, my friend got pregnant as a result of drinking on her birthday, and it can't harm the baby, as it won't have implanted or been fertilised yet. Maybe that'll be a plan. ;)
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Has anyone else ever had this, was it a miscarriage or just a hormonal blip?
I'd assume it's just a hormonal blip, tbh. If you start convincing yourself that bleeds that seem out of the ordinary are mcs (as easy as it is to do) then you'll drive yourself crazy :o
Today's test which we did this morning, showed a more rapid faint line, more bold BFP line, so we can only assume that it is picking something up... We have a blood test result we'll hopefully get tomorrow which will save us from spending money on loads of different HPT kits, and be more conclusive. So... hold that thought, keep the champers on ice til tomorrow ... :)

Thanks. This is what I was thinking so it's good to have someone else say the same. :o

Just had a look at the NHS website and it says it can only be diagnosed by a laparoscopy so I guess it must have been itis :o
My sis and niece have both had endometriosis confirmed, via laparoscopy, so I have more idea of the (no pun intended :o) ins and outs of that than the other side of it.

As for the thrush, there are other things you can do to help: cut down on sugar (it helps feed the yeast) drink plenty of water (to flush out the nasties) and have plenty of live yoghurt and/or acidophilus to rebalance the bacterias

    Enjoy the weekend :)

anyway i have rambled, but thank you sm. I was worrying I was abnormal as I have often found sex painful, or at least burning afterwards etc, which is why I think I'm low drive - at one point they were testing me for endometriosis but I didnt want to have the scary laproscopy... we are going to docs next week to bring it up but also, I dont want to be told I'm infertile either....

    HUGS to all
Do you have pain on entry at all? I used to have this and dreaded every single entry. You soon get in the mental cycle of oh gosh here we go again and tense up anticipating the pain. Use shedloads of lube and take it real slow. The pressure of ttcing doesn't help!!
