Me and my OH both really want a baby but I've been putting it off through fear of either struggling to conceive or if we did fall pregnant me miscarrying and so I've conveniently put off having my implanon implant removed. However my OH and me have spoken and I know that we can't keep putting it off forever, we both really want a baby and we won't get one if I have the implanon rod in so on Monday I am having it removed. The reason why I am so scared/nervous etc is because in November 2004 I was admitted to hospital with a large ovarian cyst. On the 3rd December the cyst ruptured and the hospital had to operate and remove the cyst but they also had to take my right ovary and fallopian tube too. I then fell pregnant but had a miscarriage in August 2005 which pretty much destroyed me. My periods after that were pretty irregular although did seem to settle down eventually to being between 4-8 weeks cycles. Then I had the implanon rod put in in August 2010 and I've not had a period since.

I don't think we will bother with temping or charting to start with as I think I need to see how my cycles are after Implanon, then once we have established a cycle of some sort then we can be a bit more organised and planning.

So hopefully you will have me on this board? We aren't telling anyone in RL we are TTC although a couple of people have asked when we are going to start.

Welcome ikkle - yours fears are normal and understandable given what you have been through. Think you are right to take time for your cycles to sort yourself out before temping etc. Most if us on here have told no one or dew people in rl that they are ttc which is why we all share so much and support each other on here.

Still struggling with my cold which I have now had for 2 weeks so feeling fed up with it and determined to try and rest today to see if that helps.

Well news here today - I was in town shopping and went to he loo, and I've got spotting! I'm CD24, and not due to have AF until 3rd November. I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed that it goes away again soon, and that it's implantation bleeding, as I've never had spotting this early in a cycle before (usually get it 2 days before full AF).

Ssshhhh. Nobody tell her, but I think AF has forgotten about me. Cd5? And she seems to have disappeared. Much better than last time!!
