Can I throw my hat into this thread? I'm driving myself mental and don't really have anyone to talk to about ttc, none of my friends have children yet. I'm 28, been with my bf for 11 years. We've been ttc #1 for 6 months now- I know that's not a massively long time but it feels like an age! I was on birth control for 10 years and have PCOS and endometriosis. I'm terrified that I'm just not able to have children. I've been using clear blue ovulation tests and I appear to be ovulating but I know PCOS can give false positives. I'm taking pre-conception multiple-vits and am temping as well (not very well as I'm a shift worker...)
I'm just looking for a bit of support really like I suppose everyone else is. I assumed getting pregnant would be ridiculously easy judging by teen pregnancy and the fear I had all the time I didn't want to get pregnant that I definitely would. Typical isn't it? Lol.0 -

Welcome T. Hope you are not around for long.
Month one for me and AF appeared today. Never saw a peak on CBFM but we were BDing at exactly the 'right' time.
Hey ho. Early days. Just wish we were being amazed by an early success.
OH doesn't know yet as I'm away. He would have no idea when I was due on. How do others advise their OH that this month wasnt their month?
SBDTA :smileyhea0 -
@ttc40- I tell my OH by stomping around the place and generally being upset. I'd advise you don't follow my example as it makes OH think you're a complete lunatic...0

Lol @ Tea and welcome to you and ikkle
Hope it's implantation sexym
I've got red flecks in ewcm, plus af symptoms, stop I think she'll be showing full force in the next day or two... At least that makes it a far more "normal" and respectable 34ish day cycle tho!I could pretend to myself it's possible implantation, but if it was the ewcm wouldn't be being produced just yet, would it?
Anyway, hope you're enjoying your extra hour in bed
Oh and brich, hot honey and lemon, and/or hot ribena/vimto can be great when you've got cold/flu and can't take anything. Oh and a nice fluffy hot water bottlehope she won't need them though

Morning all!
Sorry I've been MIA for a while, been on holiday in cornwall - lovely! Was so relaxing, we had a great time, although the weather was rubbish! Still, had 2 nice days so managed a bike ride one day and a long coastal walk another.
Hello to all the newbies and congrats to the BFPs I've missed - there's been a few, hooray! :j
I have only skimmed through the last few pages, as I missed so many, so I hope that I haven't missed anything horrible - hope everyone's ok.
Right, I'm off sailing this morning (crewing for a friend in a race) so I'd better go get ready. I think it's gonna be chilly out!

Welcome tea - You're the same age as me, and this will be our 8th cycle. I'm in a similar situation to you, in that some of my friends have had children already, and others aren't even thinking about it yet, so it's great to be on this thread to have people in the same situation as you. There are quite a few ladies on here who have PCOS too. I hope you get your BFP soon. As for telling your OH that AF is visiting, I tend to tell my DH what's going on at all stages (I use a clearblue fertility monitor - CBFM). I normally just say that AF's here again, and we have a hug, and Moon (my DH's nickname) asks when we can start trying again. Hugs for AF arriving - I know how downhearted it can make you feel.
Hugs to secretdebts and TTC40 on the arrival of AF.
Fingers crossed Bigzippy that it is implantation or breakthrough bleeding for you.
Have fun sailing BB1984.
Fingers crossed you catch the eggie tryingforathird.
Congratulations on the poker Rebekah - I've never played before - looks complicated.
Hope your OH doesn't go down with a bug whowantstobrich - there are some antibiotics that are safe during pregnancy - I had to take some for a UTI recently, and the doctor looked them up to make sure they were safe, but I would suggest she see her doctor if she does get ill as we're not really meant to give medical advise on here.
Hope 2b and all of you who have the sniffles or lurgy are feeling better soon.
Pleased you enjoyed your Indian meal QQ - you've made me fancy a curry now. Think we'll have the sweet potato and coconut milk curry we had the other week on Tuesday. We're having pasta and salad tonight (penne in a leek and cheese sauce with veggie bacon), and dinner at my M&D's on Monday.
Hugs to all who are feeling low today.
sexymouse xx
