Trying for a Baby Part 7

Good luck tomorrow emsbet. I am sure people will be considerate but an open plan office does make you feel a bit exposed in situations like this. Am I right in thinking you are leaving in a few months anyway? If so, I'd be inclined to take a few liberties and if you do feel things getting on top of you, take yourself outside for a short break just to get back in control. Do you have a starbucks or something that you could go out to even to get a takeaway coffee. They are likely to cut you a little bit of slack in your first few days back even if this isnt usually the done thing. Or if you don't feel comfortable with that, a trip to the ladies to put on some lippie can also give a bit of space. (I don't even wear much makeup in real life, somedays none at all even at work, but I've used this strategy when I need to).
Once you have got over the first few days and faced everyone for the first time and fielded any insensitive comments or questions, it will get easier. And having something to occupy your mind during the day will help too. Though I'll miss having you to chat with on here so much during the day0 -
Pleased to hear you had a lovely weekend emsbet. Hugs for the tears today, and strength to get through tomorrow. At least once you've got your first day out of the way, it should hopefully get a little easier the next day. Try to keep yourself busy. I'm sure people would understand even if you did cry. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Don't forget to pop back in after work to let us know how it went. Have you got a special meal or a treat that you can plan to have when you get home so that you have something to look forward to at the end of the day? This may help. Hope the spotting goes soon.
Thanks.DH plays football on Monday evenings so no time to cook nice food but I'll think of something. Maybe treat myself to a cookery magazine

Thank you. Yeah the organisation is closing at the end of march so they probably won't mind too much. Although it will probably have to be the toilet option as I work on the 11th floor and so by the time I got down in the lift I'd have to come back!
I'm sure you're right and once the first few days are done it'll be easier. Don't worry about missing me, as the organisation is winding up I have less to do some days so do sneak back on here- you can't get rid of me that easily
Although my boss sent me an email on Thursday to fill me in on how my work has been covered and what I need to be getting on with this week (he's on a/l) and there's plenty to do! I was a bit miffed that he sent it to my personal email as well as my work one - surely it could have waited until tomorrow?!
Anyway enough moaning from me

Hi all,
I haven't been on here for a while as I've been really busy and not had much chance to read or post. I just thought I'd pop on to ask QQ to update me on the list - CD2 for me today. I've got some catching up to do now - I think I've missed loads!

Hi I haven't posted for a while since mc last month. It was cd 1 for me yesterday. Nicki mine has been very light too. It has now practically stopped and i've only noticed reddish brown af when I wipe so no where near full flow. So not sure what is going on with my body either. I guess it is just our bodies still getting back to the way they were before. It's very frustrating though!0

Thanks Emsbet. I'm feeling a bit more positive now, and keeping busy is really helping. If I stop for too long I think too much.
Sounds like you had a lovely time away. I'm going to book a massage next week, I find they really help with stress. Retail therapy has also featured quite a lot with me lately. But hey it'll soon be winter and I really needed that new coat, jumpers, boots, dress etc etc oops! Good job I have a very understanding DH with regard to shopping!
Good luck with your first day back at work tomorrow. I find that often the anticipation of returning is worse than the doing. so here's hoping it will not be too bad for you. x0 -

ThanksThat's good that you are doing better. I agree keeping busy helps.
Definitely book yourself a massage. Mine was quite expensive as it was in the hotel but it was worth every penny- wish I could have one every week
I did some shopping last week but as I'm struggling to shift the weight on my tummy I put on when pg it's a bit depressing shopping for trousers/jeans. Guess I'll just have to buy lots of floaty tops, shoes and bags instead

Congrats Dovetail.
I'm feeling rubbish due to AF. Probably not helped by a big night out last night which means I feel shattered.
Think it could be x factor then bed!0
