The results are in, we've just spoken to our GP.... the verdict is....

    she's pregnant.... but:

On Wednesday, her hcg level was 145, which, 10 days after transfer is not high but not low. We would have expected higher levels, but it could have taken a few days to implant (and the spotting earlier this week was delayed implantation...)

And we now know for definite that Wednesday's test stick (which was a clearblue POAS) was definitely faulty. If the blood test showed 145, then the POAS results should definitely have shown something.... so.....

Time for me to  - seeing as my OH can't... :rotfl:

    Congratulations! :D

Here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy! :D:beer:

Flipping ipad and it's autocorrect. I was suggesting rich might want to replicate WINE not wind for his DW. Now she is preggers she will have no problem at all producing her own wind in copious quantities :D. Oh, the glamour!

So, hall and stair carpet has been shampooed and is now drying. It looks so much better but it was in a foul state :o. It had suffered 2 major disasters, the first when my DD vomited when being stretchered into an ambulance having had a bad seizure, and as I was in A and E with her for 8 hours, it had a chance to set solid before I got home to clean it up _pale_. The second was a few weeks ago when my builders dropped a bucket of plaster as they carried it upstairs. They did clean this up but it has left it's mark. And as my kitchen is downstairs and the living room is upstairs, the children tend to leave a trail of ground in food and spilt juice between the two. But it now looks as clean as it is going to get until we get round to replacing it. Kids didn't get to the park yet but DS2 is asleep now (his post lunch nap), DD is bouncing on the trampoline in the garden, DS1 isn't due home from a sports activity for another hour and I am going to ignore the ironing and read my book for a while.

QQuaver, how do you manage to always find the proof or stats or website or whatever it is that others need...?

If IVF collection was on Oct 10th, then that means that on Wedneday, she was 16 DPO. That means her hcg being at 147 is almost right on target for 15/16 DPO...:T

Guess that we're right on target... if only we knew what the target was :rotfl:

PS That may explain why the IVF clinic have now decided that my OH does not need to go for a blood test, the 6-week scan is now booked for 9/11. What a date to go for our first scan to see if things are developing ok...
Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...

Fab news Whowants2brich! Hope your DW has a healthy and happy pregnancy! :D
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
