For all who have asked, and thanks for your thoughts... My OH called the GP, and was told to call back at 12:30. They didn't say if they had the results, just that we should call back...
So, anyone going to guess as to what they want to say? It's a BFP and they want to talk to us about what's going to happen? Or it's a BFN and they want to discuss the symptoms, what's going on, and what they'd like to do next, if anything?
This waiting is probably far, far worse than the 2ww... the 2 hour wait is far more painful mentally!!!Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -

Everything crossed for the former. Keeping my eyes peeled for an update."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

The results are in, we've just spoken to our GP.... the verdict is....
she's pregnant.... but:
On Wednesday, her hcg level was 145, which, 10 days after transfer is not high but not low. We would have expected higher levels, but it could have taken a few days to implant (and the spotting earlier this week was delayed implantation...)
And we now know for definite that Wednesday's test stick (which was a clearblue POAS) was definitely faulty. If the blood test showed 145, then the POAS results should definitely have shown something.... so.....
Time for me to  - seeing as my OH can't... :rotfl:Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -
PS did anyone else notice that the 3 month scan would be on Christmas day...? The first day of my OH's last AF was on 26 September....
Anyone want to predict what kind of Christmas we're going to have?Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0 -
Fantastic news rich! Hope all goes well for the rest of the pregnancy.
PS if your wife likes bottled beer, Becks blue is completely alcohol free and I can't tell the different when pregnant between it and normal beer. Wind is a far harder one to replicate though...0 -
Thanks Nicki...
But we're not going to celebrate too much yet because the IVF clinic want my OH to go to the clinic for a blood test over the next few days, yes they are on the NHS and they want her to go in for a blood test at the weekend...
If levels are increasing, they'll be happy. If levels are decreasing, we'll be sad. Until then, we can but sit in hope... and wait...Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...0
