Thank you all for your help.

I ended up taking some childs medicine last night - in a desperate attempt to get some more sleep - I took the same dosage as an 11 year old!! Anyway - it seems to have helped a bit. I can't remember what its called though. robi something maybe?!

I think I need to take some day nurse, or something similar (we have the american stuff here, it always seem SO much stronger and works better!)

Anyway FF has finally marked me 3dpo! Thankfully DS is going to some all day sport/kicking/throwing thing today - and DW arrives back to take care of me. Boohoo!

Did another test today which thankfully was a clear negative, even after leaving it for a good while to dry :j was torn between really wanting to see 2 lines because well, thats what this whole year has been about so far :o and wanting to see just one as my social calandar has never looked so healthy and I wouldnt mind getting a bit merry at my friends 30th this weekend

I have my first ever pampered chef party tonight, a pink themed one for Breast cancer awareness, I've no clue what to expect but we are going to be baking muffins (??) and its a great bunch of women who I became closer friends with during our recent loss so all in all im expecting a great night :D

Hello everyone, sorry I've been MIA for a while

I'm feeling fairly chipper and positive in general BUT I've had a guts full of the whole TTC business to be honest and feel like I need a break :o.

Good news, I had a gynae appointment to check on my ovarian cyst last week and it's gone:T.

I can't imagine what you're going through Lemonmelon, I thought mine had caused enough trouble. Fingers crossed they got all the nasty stuff. If it's any consolation my left ovary has been out of action for 4 months and I've ovulated from the right every month instead and have had regular periods so it is definitely possible to have a completely "normal" cycle with just one functioning ovary (that was after a mc too to add to the gynae related upheaval even more). Wishing you all the very best xx

I was speaking to the consultant and she said the advice they give everyone ttc was to take folic acid and bd 3 times a week. That's it:eek:.

I'm due to ov on Monday and am going to keep at it with the opk and bunny like bding :D for this month but next month we're not going to try at all because I've had a rubbish year and (don't judge me) I LOVE Christmas parties and want to drink cocktails  Don't get me wrong I'd be over the moon with a happy accident but I've spent 12 months TTC and no baby so I'm giving myself 6 weeks or so off and will try again in the new year.

I will OF COURSE lurk and follow you all and pipe up from time to time but will try and take a step back.

Emsbet - could your bleeding be hormone related do you think? They take a bit of a battering after a mc and maybe they aren't back in balance and causing your endometrium to shed randomly when it shouldn't? I started taking vit b complex and it stopped my spotting, when I told the dr she said vit b was vital for hormone regulation and a slight definciency can throw them off. Not medical advice from me of course....;)x

well ladies a bit more info on me.

I stopped the pill on 15/09/11 and AF arrived 18/10/11, I was very surpirsed at this as I was at Doctors week before and asked how long till my peiods could start and she said it could take up to 6 months and possibly longer due to PCOS.

I'm maybe being a bit dim, lol, but I don't know if I can count this as being my true first cycle though or not, what do you think? If so that means that my first cycle lasted 34 days. Which is pretty good as when trying for DD sometimes I didn't see AF fro upto 90 days, but other months it was 29.

Good luck to everyone on here, am in process of reading back through all the posts.

Blimey secretdebts - that's a lot of chocolate bars you're going to have to buy this month! Better get one of those funsize multipacks.

Welcome kittycat - hope you get your BFP soon.

No news here (7 days to go until AF due). Moon was listening to my tummy last night to see if he could hear a bean - I said he's more likely to hear a lentil as we had veggie moussaka with the sweet potato bake ;), and he said that all he could hear was bubbling and gurgling! :rotfl:

Hope it goes well at the doctor's emsbet and that the bleeding stops before you go away.

Hugs for all who need or want them, and :hello:to all the lurkers.

This is how relaxed I am about TTC......

Just discovered my VIP trial to FF has ended and all the good stuff has gone and I'm really cross :rotfl:. I didn't realise quite so much of it was only VIP, I know I could pay for it but as I don't temp and I'm supposed to be taking a relaxed approach paying for a website to keep track of my CM for me seems excessive :rotfl:

A wonky thyroid can cause lots of problems when TTCing and with a small bean but is usually fairly easy to put right so think of it as good news as now you know about it they can get it sorted for you. xxx
