Trying for a Baby Part 7

Wow that is a haul Emsbet.
One way to look at things is that you will lose the extra weight when things settle down for you and then you will fit back into your normal wardrobe. And then when you get your BFP again, and are on your way back up, you will have clothes which fit that awful in between stage where your regular size is uncomfortable, but maternity wear is that little bit too loose (or you just don't want to have to announce your news yet but the maternity wear makes it obvious)
That's a good way to look at it. I want to shift the weight (have an evening wedding do that's black tie in three weeks and need to fit into my black cocktail dress) but I don't want to do anything too extreme that's going to mess with ov etc.
I'm going to get on the wii fit later!

And yeah, I'm only active in researching things so I know when to tell my OH that she's become incredibly paranoid, that she's reading into things too much, and that she should stop stressing. She's a worrier at the best of times, and I've lost count of the number of times she's said she'll have an MC, and I've responded by telling her to stop wasting our time and money, and that of the IVF clinic. I even told her I'd refuse to sign the consent forms for the IVF treatment until she stopped being so negative!0 -

Emsbet that sounds like a great shopping trip
glad it made you feel a bit better!
Wii fit sounds like a great idea, never thought I would be so desperate to go back to the gym, even just a little swim would be heavendoes exercise really affect ov though? I would have thought, if anything, getting all your blood moving around would be really good?
Good luck this month Rebekah, sounds like you have a good plan, is it this weekend you have visitors?
Whowantstoberich - keeping all my fingers crossed for you, sounds really positive so far
Secretdebts - hope its a bfp and everyone's wrong, I'm guessing a nine month cycle0 -
Lemonmelon it's the dieting I'm worried may affect ov as it can mess with your hormones. I think exercise is good for ov (except too much exercise).

Thanks, that makes more sense but maybe eating healthier would affect ov in a positive way? Anything too extreme is never a good idea, not that I have a clue what I'm talking about - couldn't diet if I tried!0 -

This was the only bit of ttc after miscarriage advice which I was given by my obstetrician. Ie to be in the best nutritional position I could when I conceived. I wasn't told to avoid anything or do anything else, and I'm not medically overweight though like most women I'd rather weigh about 10lbs less than I currently do.
When I conceived last time round I was religiously doing 30 day shred every day (was about 15 days in) and broadly eating a low carb diet but cheating a bit on that as we were on holiday.0 -
 Grrrr, I'm so flaming grumpy!!
My skin looks like someone has declared a biological war, I'm COLD, I have a sore back from carrying logs, I can feel a headache coming on, I have a cough and a snottery nose.
And I haven't done any of the work I have to do today because I have no motivation. AND I have to get an early train tomorrow
Grump.

colli, yay on your cyst:j
6 weeks off TTC sounds like a brilliant idea:) Enjoy:santa2:
As for FF, I know what you mean about VIP:o You definitely don't need them for catching ov:money:
Emsbet, I take a B vit complex as I think other B vitamins are needed to help the body process the B6 (think I got this from QQ so she can correct me if I'm wrong). I take Seven Seas One a day vitamin b complex which is just 100% of RDA for all the b vitamins plus extra folic acid for ttc and brewers yeast (whatever that does) so you don't necessarily need a lot. Some of the complexes are much stronger and more expensive but this one is only about £3.50 so I thought I'd start with this and see how it goes and it seems to do the job just fine

I've swapped counting calories (which I was doing even when I got pregnant) to eating healthily. I'm trying to only eat things that have a decent nutritious value, nuts etc in, crisps etc out but not looking at the calorie count at all. I'm definitely trimmer and but I'm getting many more nutrients so am feeling better too. "junk" food doesn't have the same appeal anymore, I think you can get a bit addicted as the more you eat the more you want (or I do anyway) and once you break the cycle it gets easier to resist. can only be good for ttc I think0
