Last night we had some action too. So that was cd 10 on the SMEP. I don't do that cd 8 as I think thats aimed at those who either ovulate early or don't know when they are going to ov. More Friday :D

Stay here and keep us posted. I think its really fabulous to have a man around and one who wants to post her her and get more information. My man is still scared over it all and is in the mindset of wanting to get it "over and done with now". And definately isn't the type to want to help me in reading or researching in any way. That would mean him getting too involved and he is too lazy :rotfl:
I feel rude to say this but i've forgotten about your background. I remember you guys have been trying for ages. Whats your ages (if you wanna share only lol), did you have any other kiddies or is this number1 anmd what jobs etc do you do? Won't ask too much as don't want to overwhelm you :o

#1. I'm 30, OH is 34. Married in March 2009, one MC last August, otherwise no luck at all... Both have office-based jobs, nothing physically strenuous or active...

And yeah, I'm only active in researching things so I know when to tell my OH that she's become incredibly paranoid, that she's reading into things too much, and that she should stop stressing. She's a worrier at the best of times, and I've lost count of the number of times she's said she'll have an MC, and I've responded by telling her to stop wasting our time and money, and that of the IVF clinic. I even told her I'd refuse to sign the consent forms for the IVF treatment until she stopped being so negative!

Haven't finished catching up yet but here goes so far:

    2ba3c
(((hugs))) for being sick. Seems to be some going around:(
emsbet, (((hugs))) for spotting. When I had mc, I had erpc, so it's different to you. After the op, there was bleeding obviously, and when it stopped, AF or something like that started a week later.
TTC40, many people don't get peaks on their 1st cycle. Perhaps next cycle, you could keep all your sticks, label with CD and Low/High etc, and keep them in resealable bag? (I do that).
    MrsBryan, how are you?
    colli, yay on your cyst:j
6 weeks off TTC sounds like a brilliant idea:) Enjoy:santa2:
As for FF, I know what you mean about VIP:o You definitely don't need them for catching ov:money:
missty, 34 day cycle sounds good:) Good luck catching the eggy this cycle:cool:
sexymouse, :rotfl:re Moon hearing your digestive sounds:D
Tinkwings, (((hugs))) for thyroid. Hope you are not taking Vit Bs, as they can make it worse.
Whowants2brich, are you saying you got BFP?

As for BDing, I don't jump on him, ever:o I was never too keen on BDing side of the relationship, as was he. Which worked fine until we started TTC. If I jump on him, he'll know it's ov:p

    Morning ladies (and gent)

I have another mug of tea if anyone wants to share...I also have a grouchy one year old (someone please remind me why we are doing this again!?)

Have woken up with a sore throat, hope its just the weather changes and not another rotten cold...blooming pointless things.

Silly q...if ttc...how often should we be doing the deed? Reading conflicting advice, OH reckons at least every day, preferably twice :rotfl::rotfl: (poor boy!) but I seem to remember reading every other??
The official consensus is evry other day. What you do is aroun peak time do every day for 2 or 3 days then every other day again for a bit per SMEP.

Today's test which we did this morning, showed a more rapid faint line, more bold BFP line, so we can only assume that it is picking something up... We have a blood test result we'll hopefully get tomorrow which will save us from spending money on loads of different HPT kits, and be more conclusive. So... hold that thought, keep the champers on ice til tomorrow ... :)

Ok, blindfold him, and then jump on him, then he won't see what's coming (or your FF charts), and therefore he can't run away (or if he does, he'll run into the wall rather than out of the room... :T)

we did a IC test this morning, and it was definitely more visible than the previous tests we did, showing a BFP. It's still faint, but not nearly as faint as Monday's test - definitely visible within 10 minutes, and in a normally lit bathroom (it was at 7am, damn winter is here already). The spotting hasn't stopped, though... we get the blood test result hopefully tomorrow, that will show how things are progressing, one way or another.

That's a good sign. A visible BFP now, as opposed to a not really visible line on Monday means your wife's HCG levels are getting stronger which they wouldn't be if she was miscarrying. Some spotting around the time your AF would be due is also not necessarily a cause for concern. I had this in 3 pregnancies, 2 of which continued to term and the last sadly progressed to an early miscarriage without the bleeding getting much heavier, but was also linked to pain.

Will keep everything crossed for your blood test result.

Thanks. There's quite a few of us who've had a rough time of it lately eh?! Here's hoping for better times to come for all of us. :o

Good news re:negative HPT. I know what you mean about having mixed feelings regarding seeing just one line. At least you know you are at a normal level again and you can begin to start again :o

Hello everyone, sorry I've been MIA for a while

I'm feeling fairly chipper and positive in general BUT I've had a guts full of the whole TTC business to be honest and feel like I need a break :o.

Good news, I had a gynae appointment to check on my ovarian cyst last week and it's gone:T.

((hugs)) hopefully you'll get you BFP real soon and you won't have to put up with TTC any longer :)

    :T great news re:cyst.

Emsbet - could your bleeding be hormone related do you think? They take a bit of a battering after a mc and maybe they aren't back in balance and causing your endometrium to shed randomly when it shouldn't? I started taking vit b complex and it stopped my spotting, when I told the dr she said vit b was vital for hormone regulation and a slight definciency can throw them off. Not medical advice from me of course....;)x

I guess it's probably hormone related. It looks like AF but it's definitely not as you have to have 21 days between bleeds for it to count as AF otherwise your hormones haven't gone through the full cycle.
I have been taking vit b6 for about two weeks (along with Agnus Castus and folic acid) but maybe I need a vit b complex with some other b vits in too?

((hugs)) tink for test results. Hopefully they will be able to give you some treatment to help.

Well I went shopping and it did cheer me up a bit but I had to get some new jeans and new work trousers (none of mine fit) and they are two sizes bigger then my normal  (although they were primark and I think I usually have to buy a size bigger in there so maybe one size bigger than normal, but still :() My weight all seems to be on my lower abdomen so I still look pg :o I really need to stop eating!

On the plus side I got a pair of jeans, pair of trousers, some spanx type knickers, two pairs knickers, pair of long gloves, pair of shoes, t-shirt, two long sleeve t-shirts and two jackets for £70! :money:

    xx

Wow that is a haul Emsbet.

One way to look at things is that you will lose the extra weight when things settle down for you and then you will fit back into your normal wardrobe. And then when you get your BFP again, and are on your way back up, you will have clothes which fit that awful in between stage where your regular size is uncomfortable, but maternity wear is that little bit too loose (or you just don't want to have to announce your news yet but the maternity wear makes it obvious)
