  • Morning all!

Have the day off2day so off for some waxing shortly.
Hugs T2D. OHs can really get to you at times like this but i think when everything starts to get on top of you it makes it much more upsetting. Hopefully once hes calmed down a bit he can understand the need for dtd and could see that he should be a bit more supportive.

As for me think im out this month. Nothing you could ss with wotsoever and af due probably wednesday. Not that i was trying to ss:p.

Had a 12 day lp last month so wil be interesting to see wot it is this month as its only my 2nd month off the pill so expecting a bit of variation maybe. Hate not having the control of things like with the pill. A lot more disappointed than last month at the thought of af but its only the 2nd month so keeping up the pma.:)

big hugs time2deal, is there any chance of you and OH getting away for a little while? Even just one night somewhere out in the sticks, give you chance to relax and appreciate each other and maybe without day to day stresses you can talk more openly about your (yours and his) thoughts and feelings surrounding this stuff.
it must be really hard though, i've been really lucky so far that DH has been willing/able when needed, just not doen us much good:o

AFM, EWCM this morning so looks like i'm on track for a 35day cycle. which is yaay metformin is working but booo i was hoping for a 42 day cycle so i'd ovulate after the test and still have a chance this month. oh well, least i know bits are working and my next fertile time will be around my birthday

Also, FF has decided in its wisdom to give me some free days, although i don't know how many or why lol x x

Lilymay - a peak on CBFM doesn't mean you are ovulating, it means that your LH is surging - ov can occur between 12 and 36 hours after the LH is detected. (not sure on those figures, check the instruction manual!) Hence why it gives you 2 peak days as you could ov at anytime over that 2 day period.

I never used ov sticks - so I'm not sure about that.

PS - for those who have to "increase the frequencey" around ov - I was one of those couples. We have not *cough* BD'd for at least 7 weeks now. I think my DH was scarred by my demandingness and is now making up for it!!

TeamLowe I had some free days from FF too, was quite fun to use all the extra bits and bobs, but to be honest, only increased my SSing...esp using the early pregnancy signs indicator...

Massive hugs t2deal, hope you're feeling better today..
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

Thanks Zcrat - I knew a peak was indicating a surge and not actual ovulation, I was just confused as to why i got a + with the monitor and a - with the OPK. Judging by my temp rises in the past, I think I ovulate nearer the 36hour mark after I get the first +. Having the surge 10 days early has just thrown me a bit. Let's hope its a good thing and I will have a normal LP :)

Just popping in to say hi  and send a big hug to anybody who would like one! This ttc malarkey can be very stressful and sometimes a big hug is nice (I know a baby would be better, but I can't manage to make one for myself at the moment, let alone anybody else :o).

I've been sleeping in a lighter room for three days now and no sign of a temp rise yet. Do you lunaception ladies go back to darkness after three days, or wait until you've OV'd?

Have a good day all :)

    Hi all,

Thank you all so much. I have no idea how I would be getting through this process without someone here to talk to! Going away is maybe a good idea - time to talk and chill, and this weekend is definitely not 'the time' so can be just BD for fun.

To my surprise I do actually feel better today as the day has progressed. I have to admit (contrary to others here) that I actually love my work. Or rather, not the work, but I have a fantastic fun and supportive team, so it's a pleasure to come to work normally.

    onwards and upwards. :)

    (((Hugs)))) for time2deal

I think I am a little guilty of this (not saying you are though and its a harsh thing for your OH to say)........around OV I make quite a bit more effort (even if its subconciously) I do initiate at other times but if I am honest it might not be that often, also if its gone past OV I have been known to turn down an offer because i am knackered, but somehow 'find' the energy if its the 'right' time......

Ive started making a mental note to let hime know he's on 'a promise' once a week (I try to pick a different night each week) whether its OV or not then some extras around the right time doesnt look out of place. Then he doesnt know when is the crucial time to 'perform' and doesnt feel so pressured.

I also seem to get PMT symptoms around OV which make me a bit snappy/sarky when really I should be feeling super nice and sexy!

Grrrr girly hormones, you can always apologise and say you want to kiss and make up.....
If at first you dont succeed, try, try again

Glad you're feeling better time2deal, that's a really good idea to get away :-)

Rumfeeble that rings alot of bells with me too but I don't think my oh minds too much, I try to offer something else outside of ov time when I can't be bothered with the whole hog!

Loads of ewcm for me today :-D never had any last month so I'm happy and cd 13 seems a good day for oving

Tea lover -I second that wholeheartedly
