    Thanks :D

I'm not actually getting married until August and so strictly speaking we're supposed to be NTNP, but I can't resist taking more of an interest than that!

I think because I worry about getting OH to do the deed at the right times, a more scientific approach might be needed sooner than if he was a once a day man. Does that sound sensible? Does anyone use the clearblue fertility monitor?

Makes complete sense! I don't use the CBFM but a few ladies on here do so will be able to advise. You could try OPKs (ovulation tests) which detect the LH surge indicating that OV will happen in the next 12-36 hours. You can buy them very cheaply on Amazon.

You can also check your cervical mucus (cm) - when ovulation is approaching it gets wetter and stretchier (like egg white, pleasant...).

QQ - great news you are going for another cycle of IVF :j And good news about the LH levels. When will egg collection be?

big hugs time2deal, is there any chance of you and OH getting away for a little while? Even just one night somewhere out in the sticks, give you chance to relax and appreciate each other and maybe without day to day stresses you can talk more openly about your (yours and his) thoughts and feelings surrounding this stuff.
it must be really hard though, i've been really lucky so far that DH has been willing/able when needed, just not doen us much good:o

Great idea teamlowe - we are now investigating places to go, and both much happier!

It's not that he doesn't want to DTD, more that he feels like he is being used, and I don't tell him what we are up to - so he assumes it's always an obligatory deed, and never just for fun. Which is wrong - I mean there are clearly times when we would probably otherwise stay on the sofa, but I hate the idea that he thinks it is only and always because I 'have' to! Anyway, I think we have agreed we just need to talk more.

And hopefully this also chills me out a bit, which is supposed to help anyway. Last week was ov, and I agree with the poster that says they get PMT style symptoms, which includes moodyness, and being oversensitive.

Now, as I write this, it feels slightly familiar... i might check my own posting history and see if I had exactly the same meltdown this time last cycle!

OK, off to find myself a posh hotel in the country. :T:T

    Big huge squishy hugs Time2deal.

    Wow that's great news QQ.

findingmyownway, I use the cbfm. What would you like to know? I find it fantastic as I wake up at different times so temping is out for me. It does take a couple of months for it to get used to your cycles, but brilliant for if you want a bit of warning for when you ov. It gives a high a couple of days before you OV, and then Peak for 2 days around OV. So you know exactly when to dtd.

Obviously nothing going on here. Just wish AF would arrive so we can get on with it. Have spoken to OH, I'm going to defintely book an appointment to talk to a doctor/nurse and try and find out what's going on with us. I hate doctors so have a habit of putting it off.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

We are doing exactly the same thing :) We are looking at a place called Rhinefield House hotel in the New Forest. I'm getting a small pay rise next month and we've decided to blow the first month's extra money on a nice mini break, after that we'll be saving the extra cash. They have quite good dinner, bed and breakfast deals. The website is called 'hand picked hotels' and there are several hotels in different locations, so there might be one near you if you are interested! I'm excited :j

Glad you are feeling a bit better, ttc is hard work sometimes, isn't it?!

    Good luck QQ

I actually feel quite lucky that I'm using a donor after reading the last few pages, I'd end to end up with me and OH constantly second guessing each other as to intentions behind BD.

I think arguments are normal though, it's a frustrating thing to do - having so little control and it being something you want so much, we are bound to take it out on those closest to us. I think it shows strength in your relationship - you know that you are strong enough together that an argument wont destroy things.

Still no AF, am pretty sure it was due yesterday, but last cycle was all mixed up (i was 6 days early and have never been early in my life) so this could just be a long one to compensate!

Keep getting cramps in tummy, so I'm guessing its on its way tho...

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi ladies sorry no post from me for a few days. Been quite poorly over weekend, think cystitis turned into kidney infection. Am totally fed up with my body - stopped the pill 2 months ago & nothing. I just wish AF would arrive then we could get on with it!

Work is stressing me out too which doesn't help.

Hope you are all OK ... off to read back!

Just popping in to say hi  and send a big hug to anybody who would like one! This ttc malarkey can be very stressful and sometimes a big hug is nice (I know a baby would be better, but I can't manage to make one for myself at the moment, let alone anybody else :o).

I've been sleeping in a lighter room for three days now and no sign of a temp rise yet. Do you lunaception ladies go back to darkness after three days, or wait until you've OV'd?

Have a good day all :)

Ive waited til ov both times. Im not sure which way is best though.

    (((Hugs)))) for time2deal

I think I am a little guilty of this (not saying you are though and its a harsh thing for your OH to say)........around OV I make quite a bit more effort (even if its subconciously) I do initiate at other times but if I am honest it might not be that often, also if its gone past OV I have been known to turn down an offer because i am knackered, but somehow 'find' the energy if its the 'right' time......

Ive started making a mental note to let hime know he's on 'a promise' once a week (I try to pick a different night each week) whether its OV or not then some extras around the right time doesnt look out of place. Then he doesnt know when is the crucial time to 'perform' and doesnt feel so pressured.

Im definitely guilty of doing that. Luckily for me DH is up for it pretty much anytime so I dont have any issues with that but I do worry because its incredibly obvious when the 'right time' is! Its very easy to be lazy the rest of the month.

No AF here yet. Was due yesterday but have only had brown spotting so far so still waiting. Guess CD1 will prob be tomorrow now, but will be back to confirm. Hope everyone's ok. Sorry, not had a chance to read back.

Started the healthy eating today. :) Have been feeling very fed up thanks to PMS, but at least that is one positive thing I've done.
