Just been to the loo and there was a little bit of pink, so AF will probably be here tomorrow or the day after. I guess that explains the chocolate cravings I've been having all day :p I don't have any in the house though, so I had a chocolate milkshake instead and it was yum :)

I'm sort of excited because it means I can go for it this month now that I know where I am in my cycle, but kinda annoyed at the same time because it means I can't go swimming on my holiday this weekend :(

Yay, possibly fertile cm at cd12. This might actually be a normal length cycle. Having said that, DH isn't really interested in BDing tonight, so errm...d'ya think I can get him to do it in a cup? :rotfl:

  • Congratulations tattoo, marie and JoJoB (welcome too!!)

QQ I’m really sorry it didn’t work this time but roll on next month :j

Welcome niknok, RazWaz, Coops228 and findingmyownway – I hope your stay here is short and sweet (in the nicest possible way)

    How are you feeling TT40?

Abis – your DD reaction to the gold coin from the tooth fairy is sooo sweet

Clare16 – I agree re the pill and spots, I cant wait to be able to start taking it again

    ((Hugs)) time2deal

AFM - I have been missing for a while, we were on holiday last week and went away to York for a couple of days. It was lovely to spend some time with OH.
My OH hasn't been well for the last few months and has finally been referred to the hospital and he needs to go in for a biopsy. At the moment he is so tired and ill we haven’t BD’ed a lot recently. When I told him I thought we had missed this month (due to ewcm last week) he was quite upset and said next cycle lets try for 2 to 3 time a week regardless of how he is feeling (he’s not keen on knowing when I ov and I’m not really sure I know anyway), he is so desperate to be a Dad. I so want to give him a baby.

Sorry for the long post, ((hugs)) to everyone who needs them.

Why not? Just use a tampon? Im going on holiday at the weekend too, and if AF isnt completely gone by then theres no way Im missing out on the pool!

I feel your pain re the chocolate cravings! CD1 for me. Just glad to get this cycle started too.

    Evening gals,
On holiday so not getting on as much as I'd hoped.
I guess I'm about 6 days past ov. I'm not at all hopeful for this month as dh works away and I think he was home too late this month. Not much I can do about that though so just need to enjoy the time he's home and worry about next month next month if that makes sense.
I monitor my basal temp as I'm up for work at the same time every day and use those wee sticks to try show ov but hardly ever see a line. No hum.

Hugs to all that need a wee hug. X

I always bleed right through tampons, I have to use them with pads or I get leaking. I have really heavy periods, I think it's something to do with my clotting disorder but I'm not sure.

Just de lurking to say RazWaz have you considered using a mooncup - even if it is just while you are swimming.
    Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
    Competition wins 2015 = £1400

It's something I have looked into, but I think I'd want to try it out before hand, rather than buying one, diving into a pool full of people and just hoping it works :o be a bit embarrassing if I got it wrong.

The other thing I worry about is using it in public, I never carry a bag so wouldn't be able to carry wipes or anything, and doing a 'walk of shame' with sticky fingers over to the sinks would mortify me.

Completely understand, I haven't used it myself so can't offer any advise but something I have been looking into. Some use it for TTC to keep the deposits in longer. Not sure it makes any difference but always an option. :D
