Hello everyone:wave:
Had my blood test and scans and I'm go for egg collection (IVF) this cycle!:j Obviously there's always a chance of cancellation due to how the egg is growing, but yipeeeeee!!!
As for how my pcos is doing after the medicated cycle, LH is lower than FSH which is great:cool: Other than that, amount of eggs and other hormones are the same as my other cycles:o I suppose low LH may produce better eggs, it's lowest ever
They are going to alter some medications from my past 3 cycles, so hope that'll help too:)
claretsgirl, you may still ov. If it was anovulatory, you may still get AF, perhaps a little one:o
It is normal not to ov once or twice a month.
Time2deal, (((hugs))). I was never interested in BDing so I never initiated BDing before TTC. It was always a treat for him:p But then he was always a once a weekend man.
What I should've done is to initiated randomly throughout the cycle so DH would never guess ov:cool: Perhaps you could tell your OH you will BD throughout the cycle not just when you ov?
Does your OH want a baby?
Perhaps your OH thinks BDing for a baby is wrong? It should only be done with love?
lilymay, perhaps you are one of those people who only get a short LH spike? Then maybe you are oving now, get BDing!:j
Twigglet, hugs for AF
It will happen, it happened before it will happen again:o
onlywayisup, well done for keeping up the PMA:T
mrsj28, I think you get the mask back on after 3 days, and wait a bit and if you haven't ov'd then take the mask off again or something like that:o0 -
had the call about the clearblue trial and told them the truth about the pcos so now i can't do it. on the one hand i'm gutted cos i don't get free things, but on the other i'm glad cos it seems really intensive, they even want a wee sample for 60 days when you get pregnant! it would just stress me out and is not in keeping with my 'want to be relaxed' philosophy lol x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Hi everyone
Newbie here. I have been off the pill since March 12. Waited for AF which took a few weeks, then had one 32 day cycle.
However now on CD37, tested yesterday but it was negative. Do i just need to be patient, or start to worry?
Reassured to see some others on here with the once-a-week variety of man. I had been worrying that it would mean lower quality swimmers if you see what I mean, if they've been hanging around in there for ages rather than being made fresh? Anyone know anything about that?0 -
Afternoon all :-)
I'm after a bit of advice and hoping someone will know!!
So I came off the pill 4 weeks ago on Wednesday. I had a withdrawal bleed straight away. This confuses me because now I don't know when OH is due, I thought I OV 8 days ago because I was in quite a bit of pain in my lower back. But I just don't know!!
When should I test? Because I have not got a clue!

Niknok I would leave it another couple of weeks before you start to worry, its hard to know how your body will react to coming off the pill. You are only on CD26 if I am working that out correctly. You COULD test now, but no guarantee its accurate.0

Welcome findingmyownway! Hope your stay here will be short and sweet
I don't think up to a week is a problem for the swimmers to be hanging around, I think it's if it's a lot longer.

I agree - it would definitely have stressed me out, and probably DH too, seeing all that wee in the fridge :rotfl:
I'm leaning more and more towards the 'relaxed' philosophy. I am doing all these tests and temps and we are still not always managing to BD at the right time, so I am going to *try* to be more relaxed next cycle and just see what happens, focus on having regular BDing with DH but without the pressure of knowing it's OV time. Otherwise it's this rollercoaster of excitement and disappointment which is getting a little bit tiring!
Much easier said than done, I know, we'll see how I go.0 -
Thanks findingmyownway.
I'm just really impatient and I think because my friend came off the pill and never had a period at all because she fell straight away, it just makes me think there's a chance that happened to me xDFW - Feb 2016 £19k

Thanks
I'm not actually getting married until August and so strictly speaking we're supposed to be NTNP, but I can't resist taking more of an interest than that!
I think because I worry about getting OH to do the deed at the right times, a more scientific approach might be needed sooner than if he was a once a day man. Does that sound sensible? Does anyone use the clearblue fertility monitor?0
