Thanks Q a slice of choccy cake sounds good, fx for a yes from your doc tomorrow :)

    Who knows about soy iso-whatsits?
Do they sell them in tescos or boots? Need to start in the first few days of AF so wouldn't want to wait for amazon or eBay.
Might give it one more month giving it my all, soy and the eye mask and lots of bding and no stressing. I wouldn't be able to get a doctors appointment quickly as for non emergency I usually wait about 10 days but if I book it for after I am likely to have oved then I have given it one more shot.
Hey this sounds like i have a bit of pma - go me!
If at first you dont succeed, try, try again

I got them from Holland and Barretts:http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=1&prodid=420&cid=52

    Most people take 4 capsules/day on CD3-7.

    Hugs Rum.

What about a large glass of wine too?

How far ahead can you book an appointment? Why not get one booked in for after your next cycle - then cancel it when you get a BFP!

Otherwise if you don't get pg next cycle (which obviously I hope you do), you'll be waiting again for an appointment.

Hi all. Been a bit quiet for a while. Really not sure what's happened to me this month. Usually so regular but even though I had my usual monthly symptoms and could have sworn AF was going to arrive as usual - nothing! I've already tested and its definitely negative and I feel fine (no symptoms whatsoever). I've had no EWCM so is it probable that I didn't ovulate this cycle and if that's the case will I not get AF? I'm just a bit confused as this hasn't happened to me in years, since I was much younger and had long cycles. X

Hi claretsgirl. When was AF due? Did you test early?
I'm pretty sure that you should get af even if you don't ovulate, but I might be wrong...

My understanding is if you don't ovulate, you'll get a breakthrough bleed at some point,ie when the lining builds up so much it gets too much and comes away, but depends on your body when that happens, could be months, last time it happened to me it was a 90 plus day cycle before I took pills to kick start it.

Claretsgirl has anything happened this cycle to knock it off balance? Stress or illness can make it not play ball. And I hate to mention it but how's your weight? fat cells release oestrogen, too much of that will stop you ovulating x x

Also doctors generally won't do much for just one long cycle, but considering you've got a history might be worth discussing PCOS, of only to get it ruled out. That's if you haven't had a diagnosis already xx

So, a pretty terrible weekend for me. We have had some serious fights, and OH has basically accused me of never wanting to have sex anymore, except ever 4 weeks. Said I never initiate otherwise, which is simply WRONG, but how do I prove that!

He doesn't know when I ov, but he says he always things 'oh, so this is 4 weeks from last time'. Which is sooooo unfair, as that means he can say he assumes it is always around ov, even if he doesn't know. Yes, I will try to encourage it around ov, but that doesn't mean we have stopped having sex other times. He is being totally unfair, and I think I have realised how depressed I am getting, and now no matter what I do things are going to be !!!!. If I initiate, then it will be 'oh, now you are just making an effort for later', if I don't... then no change on BFP. No idea what to do, and have been in tears most of the evening, the weekend if I am honest.

And how am I supposed to start any kind of next step, when it seems he resents having to have sex, can't imagine he is happy to start SA and things like that.

Haven't slept most of the weekend, and I can't see a way through this. He won't speak to me, and certainly won't sleep with me. Really tough weekend...
