    How are you feeling TT40?

I'm OK thanks. Still tender & moving from sitting to standing is delicate because of the sitches in my stomach.

Off to have the stiches out this morning. Am very impressed with myself for leaving the covering on for a week - so I haven't had a look at the scar or how it's mending.

:rotfl:at post BD jumping with a mooncup.

Think ov will be early next week - hope OH's chicken pox are on the way out by then (and he's had a shave!).

Kitten - lovely to see you. How many weeks are you now? Hope all is going briliantly & you are feeling OK. x

QQ - fx for everything this month.

    Morning ladies

CD1 for me - yahoooooooooooo :j:j:j:j:j:j:j Don't think I've ever been more excited for it than since I started - well I was nearly 16 and THE LAST person ever to start their period - or maybe it just felt like that at the time :p:rotfl: Its been threatening to start with spotting for the last couple of days and stressing me out as to whether it was gonna arrive or not. That plus a bit of PMS has meant I've been very grumpy, lol! Hopefully I will be back to my former non-grumpy self now :D

Having AF arrive means my body is no longer thinking its pregnant and that hopefully my levels are gonna hit normal soon!!! Hope I'm not getting my hopes up too much, cos am really hoping for a good result tomorrow and next week now. PMA is perhaps a little too high for me sometimes, lol!! :rotfl:

Half of me wants to start temping now - to see what my next cycle looks like and to see if I start getting back into a pattern. Before the pregnancy my cycles were all over the place from 31-43 days. Would be nice to think they are regular now but think thats just wishful thinking :p

Even if my levels hit normal over the next week or 2 - they still recommend you to wait another 4 months to start TTC to make sure all the molar tissue has gone. Its gonna be hard that wait tho I think, especially as theres no guarentees. I might wait 6 months and still get a molar again, or if I waited 1 month I might end up with a healthy pregnancy. Its all just a game of luck. I'm the impatient one and DH is the sensible one who would prefer to follow the rules. I guess we will just wait and see how long my patience holds out for

QQ - Great news about the hormone levels. Sending nicely growing eggy folicle vibes your way desismileys_0430.gif

Definately Blonde - Hope your OH is feeling better soon and that he gets some answers from the hospital. Tis most important to get him better and then operation BD can commence again ;) Glad you had a nice time away. York isn't too far from me - we go there quite often, its lovely in the sunshine

Codemonkey - Any luck with DH last night :p

Lilymay - I have no idea on the CBFM and the OPK - is there a helpline in the instructions anywhere that you could ring? Maybe the OPK's are a faulty batch or vice versa? It must be costing you a fortune all the expensive stuff you keep using  Hope your DH recovers from his football injury soon.

MrsJ - :rotfl: That you forget to have sex!! Hows it going trying to relax about pin-pointing ov?

Claire16c - Hugs for CD1. I now understand why I ate half a chocolate orange last night too. Nothing at all to do with being greedy - it was all down to CD1 :rotfl:
 Married my lobster in July 2011

TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait :o

 2013 is going to be our lucky year

    Morning ladies – I have a dilemma!!

At my last FS appt the consultant recommended ov tests. I mentioned to him that I temp and he was quite dismissive of it. I got a copy of a letter he sent to my GP yesterday with the hycosy results (all good). In it he again states that he’s told me to use ov tests. Despite v irregular cycles I can pinpoint ov fine by checking CM and temping. But I don’t want the consultant to think that I’m being awkward and not doing everything I can to help. Should I just get some ov tests to keep him quiet? Should I just tell him I’ve used them??

Obviously I don’t want to be difficult, but if I can detect ov anyway do I really need to spend money on this? Also, I drink loads of water so I'm not sure they'd work anyway.

Back for personals later - just going to a meeting. :)

Tealover - why not get some ICs & use them. That way you have done it, but not spent loads :money:.

You may find out something different - or you may not & you can smugly think 'told you so'!

Abis - :j for CD1!! I wouldn't normally say that, but in your case that's great news!

Trying to relax is easier said than done. Sometimes I feel very chilled out about everything and then other times I think about having such a small window of opportunity and quite long cycles and it makes me really upset thinking that I might miss it! Trying to focus on some other stuff too like work and redecorating our house!

Tealover - I don't get on with OPKs at all, but I would suggest getting some cheapies from Amazon and maybe use them for a few days when you start getting EWCM? If it will keep the FS happy then I'd say it's worth it! Good to hear the hycosy results are ok.

ETA - tealover these are the OPKs I bought. I can't say I get on with them too well, but they are cheap!!!

Abis - he wasn't really in the mood so we just cuddled. There was some other stuff but we were sleepy so mostly just snuggled. It was really lovely actually - I think all that can get lost in day to day rubbish.

I love my mooncup. I thought it was going to be minging but its not. It's not that much messier than checking cm, feels much cleaner if that makes sense and doesnt dry you out on the lighter days.

Hey TTC40, glad you are feeling a bit better and hope that it has cleared the way for a sticky bean for you (Once you are healed enough to bd :p)

I am 28weeks and so far all going well here. My anxiety levels are increasing as we get closer to when we lost the boys but trying to keep a PMA.

Kitten Pie i'm glad everything's going well so far, i think about you often. are you still attending counselling? might become more helpful over the next few weeks. i want to share my confidence that everything will be ok but i hate it when people do that to me, so i'll just say that every good vibe i have spare is going to you and our other graduates who have angels to watch over them x x x

Abis i'm so pleased for your CD1! i understand your excitedness in a way, i was very happy for my first cycle after my mc, but it must still be a very worrying time for you. Your OH is right in his protective ways, you're much more precious to him than having your baby a few months earlier iyswim. take good care of yourself for now, maybe use it as a chance to temp and keep a good track of your cycles as temping's only useful as a pattern over a few months anyway.

AFM i've scared DH by showing him a picture of what clear tubes on a HyCoSy look like as i'm getting well nervous now and i want him to be able to have a quick gander if they're not telling me anything. don't think i could wait til September.
And once that's done we're back to relaxing about everything, as surely if they're clear and i'm ovulating, should just be a matter of time :) x x

Abis - I hadn't even thought to phone them. Great advice! The woman I spoke to was so helpful. She was baffled and so were the product specialists. I have to send them all my used test sticks as well as my monitor and they are sending me all new stuff.
Btw, for anyone who isn't sure, once you get a peak with your monitor don't waste anymore test sticks that cycle because the first 'peak' reading just sets off a program in the monitor.

I'm going to assume I havn't ov'ed and just use OPK's from now on :)
