Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0

Was just checking in because I was worried about Aida and wondered whether she had any news about her bloods yet.
Sorry that you had such a bad consultation 2ba. If it helps we were told just over 3 years ago that we had less than 1% chance of conceiving naturally without ICSI (due to DH's SA) and less than 5% even with ICSI based on my age and other fertility issues, and I've had one live birth and one miscarriage since then (both conceived naturally, the first 2 months after we were told we had such a small chance) and had a coil in for about a year, and was pregnant for 9 months of that period
That does help a bit! I need to cling to those kind of stories really, miracles do happen and all that jazz!

Big hugs to 2b and SD
Aida - hope you are doing ok.0 -
Ohhh, hugs to you too lovely. Lets go get virtually 'wasted'

Sod virtually. The minute I finish here I'm goin to pack up my antibiotics, steroids & inhaler & go to the pub!!! Apparently the antibiotics might make me get drunk quicker & the steroids might give me hallucinations or send me high so I'm ready for a good session :rotfl:

Thanks NIcki and 2b!
It's very weird being without OH as I really only spend 4 nights per year without him and now we don't even know how long it will be to see each other again(we booked a mini break for Easter hence the meeting on the 4th but this might be cancelled).
2b, Hugs.
Aida, thinking about you. Any news?0 -
2ba3c - hugs for the consult. I think I'm the same as your DW and always prefer to know what I am dealing with, altho I am also an eternal optimist, so even if I know its hard going I still think I will be ok. It usually works ok, but for things like not getting jobs and not getting pregnant etc I find I do take it very hard
Can you give yourself a target, like if you are not naturally pregnant by August, you will look into IUI? (I appreciate having a donor makes it harder) Or can you give yourself a break if you are feeling like giving up now? Maybe a bit of time away from it might help?
Big hugs secretdebts. Hope you are feeling better soon. Some days it just seems like pregnant people are everywhere and everything is taunting usOne day we will be one of those people tho with our big baby bumps, and no doubt someone will end up looking at us and wishing it was them.
Also thinking about Aida. Hope you are ok.Married my lobster in July 2011

hi everyone
tinkwings- sorry to hear what happened with your car, i hope your nose and eye doesnt swell up to much it looks painful in the photo going to have a bruise come out with that one.
kavics17- hugs for your oh being away hopefully it will go quick for you.
zcrat41- 2 of them, oh gosh hope it goes ok for you, i think i would do the exact thing and move around the country to avoid having them out. My dentist must be really nice as ive had way more then 3 lots of antibiotics!
codemonkey- your slidy knickers made me giggle as well!:rotfl:
qq- fingers crossed your af will hold off till the right time. sending you a hug because your so nice driving back and for with your mil, make sure you look afteryourself as well
hope everything goes ok.
teamlowe-i love your open letter to your cervix, dh sometimes bumps into you ha ha laughed out loud at that one! :rotfl:
Do you think if i wrote a letter to my womb and included some sort of gift she would keep a beanie for the whole 9 months, might be worth a try, maybe a gift certificate for B and Q or something?
abis21- big yah for going to the doctors thats very brave of you especially when its a part thats not easy showing, but always better to be checked out.
congrats on the line on ff as well, it always good to find out you have ov, half the battle is done now :T
bigzippy- good to hear from you, hoping that your sympotoms might mean more but also sending you hugs with your mil make sure you look afteryourself as well.
sa-ra-ra- sorry to hear your apt at the clinic didnt go too good, i sometimes think docs just see people as numbers and not actual people. They should be trying to help you they could have said about the scan at 8 weeks, is there any chance of seeing a specalist now? or does something have to happen again- it just seems wrong!
saw your message that you got a infection after erpc, same thing happened to me as well, it was a routine check afterwards and i really didnt expect that after mc as well, ive seen a few others who got an infection afterwards as well- that shouldnt be happening to women, it just seems another 'thing' to deal with.
fluffnutter- yours and sa-ra comment made me giggle about the smear nurse! i used to make an effort but now she just gets it when she gets it, could be mid way through the leg hair phase, but i do always wear strange weird funky coloured socks as a way to distract her.:T
nicki- collars and cuffs, thats a good one, dont think i would do the whole brazian thing before my due date though. Men have it so easy dont they?
aida- i know the docotrs like you to have a period after a mc for dating purposes, but when i had my mc i wanted to get straight back to ttc, i had a weird thinking that it would make me feel better, but just make sure you look after yourself through all of this.
I also checked with tests to make sure i got a bfn as well.
Good questions brought up by nicki to ask the hospital, the hospital should be able to give you the figures for the hcg as well but its more important they double in a set timeframe so you might have to have another couple of blood tests to make sure. Hoping its good news for you.
2ba3c-really sorry to hear about the clinic, cant believe the prices on those procedures its really scary. Sending you hugs.
secret debts- senidng you hugs as well, sounds like you are in the wars at the minute, you feeling better on the antibitotics? hope it starts to clear up and you feel better, its crap it gets in the way of TTC though. but look afteryourself though.
sorry its so long, just wanted to catch up and send hugs to lots of people, tired now from all the hugging!
afm not much happening here, my boobs are a bit sore but the part of the boob that is just underneath the armpit so i think its more to do with lifting stuff as i was moving things yesterday rather than it be a good symptom of anything.
Just watched OBEM did anyone see the midwife that was with the blonde teenager? i would really have to tell her to leave the room she was way too nice and mary poppins for me especially if i was in pain as well :mad:0
