  • Oh, dundeediva, I'm sorry that it's getting to you so much :(

Do you know when you ovulated? If you POAS and you haven't come on yet, either you did it too early and you are or you did it too early and you aren't. Until AF shows, you're not out of the game! If you know when you ov'd, you've got a better idea of when you're due...
  • Morning all! Hugs to those who need them and also to those who just want a hug.

This is going to sound like a really stupid question, but never mind!

    *TMI alert*

When does spotting become AF? I'm currently CD27 and haven't ovulated (I wasn't really expecting to have this month, so this isn't bothering me) and I have what I'd describe as dark brown watery CM with a few dark brown clots. Yesterday didn't even fill a pantyliner, but I wouldn't necessarily call it spotting...

COMP - I've always gone with the idea that CD1 is counted as when you get fresh, red blood. I can often get up to a week of brownish, old blood beforehand (tmi I know, sorry!). I wouldn't describe it as spotting as such, more brown cm. I'd say AF starts when you get red blood.
  • Thanks - I fell so daft for even asking, but having had the implant for so long it's ages since I've had a proper AF!

    Morning Lady Bugs :D

My PMA after a rough few days is back I think the reflex on the eve of my hit & run & my needles yesterday have helped. I know I slept much better last night the bding may have also helped :)

    Hugs to all in need.

Skintchick - Fab PMA I am sure your forever baby is waiting for you. x

Aida - So sorry for your loss take care of yourself x

Lemon - so sorry for your loss. Good Luck at work today xxx

I had a freaky dream like thing happen whilst i was relaxing with my needles yesterday. I had given birth to twin girls named Faith & Hope it was really surreal :o

I am due to OV over the weekend I have said to DH last night that I am not testing OV wise this month as we have agreed to BD each night and what will be will be.............Hoping it will help take the pressure off having to bd on a certain day or we miss out. If we cover all basis I think we will be covered :o
If you can think it........it will happen

Grrr, just been to see my GP, not because AF is late (cd51) but because I've had a constant bad headache since the witch was declared MIA. Might as well not have bothered. Got told to come back if AF hadn't appeared in 6 months and when I asked about the headache he told me to take ibuprofen. Cause I hadnt tried that or anything, plus I was under the impression that ibuprofen isn't a good thing to take as it affects ovulation? Remingded him about the prolactin levels and he said I need to test but wouldn't take blood so I have to go back in a week (by which time AF will probably have appeared) so the poor nurse can stick a needle in me.

Then after all that, my train was cancelled so I had to wait ages for another one. I was so annoyed, I had a muffin for breakfast. Bang goes the diet.

Birdie - they want to amputate from just below the knee on one of her legs :o what makes it worse is that I can't see how it's even viable for her to go home safely to "live out her days", she needs much more than 4 daily visits by social work carers... :(

Tink, when I first read your post I thought you were saying the man hit your car, I didn't realise he'd hit you too...! Hope you're ok now?

  • Hi all, hope you don't mind a graduate popping back. I got my BFP in January, but have just had a scan and worked out exact dates so I thought I would come back and tell you guys what I did, in case it helps.

I wasn't charting/temping etc, just looking for EWCM. My periods were between 29-35 days so I was not sure when I was ov. This was the first month I took evening primrose oil from CD1 to expected ov - I think it is meant to increase ewcm which it certainly seemed to.

Only got ewcm for a couple of hours one day, DTD the following morning and that was that. Luckily I ovulated on a weekend or we might have been at it forever with no luck!

I think we were extremely lucky to get bfp that month as we had been so ill over christmas and work being horrible that we did not have anywhere near as much bd as recommended. I hope you don't think I am making it sound easy, some of you are so much more knowledgeable and really deserve a bfp as well!

As for symptoms in the 2ww there were less than in the months where I wasn't pregnant, just some really sharp stabbing pains at about 11dpo but that could really have been anything.

I hope to see this thread empty and you all on the less than 12 weeks thread very soon

oh codemonkey i'm sorry for your crap day but the mental image of someone angrily eating a muffin (in my head it's an english muffin so lots of stomping round whilst toasting and buttering done very roughly) has made me laugh to myself :D

Aida I'm so sorry for your loss. Glad you're being positive about it but i want to tell you something i wish someone had told me when i lost my baby - please don't put yourself under pressure to feel better, to be positive, to be strong. i messed myself up a lot thinking i should be strong so pushing feelings to the back of my head. i even remember thinking leaving the hospital 'i'll have this week off work and after that i'll be over it'. which was ridiculous now i think of it. i was just so desperate to not feel blue and didn't think i deserved to for various reasons that i'm still ashamed of so won't mention here.

LemonMelon lots of love your way for your first day back. it's hard but i found it so worth getting back into a normal routine and being able to talk to people about normal things.

AFM, Mrs Cervix has not paid attention so i'm still not got AF and she's still soft. mucus seems a bit clumpy today.
went to the gym monday, walked 2 miles to the statin tuesday, going gym tonight and tomorrow morning. doing well. apart from the KFC, crisps and chocolate on Tuesday. Husband was in a funk and i can't say no :o

ALSO, !!!!!! is with pantyliners being teeny tiny? thought i'd try one out cos i bought a pack of the Halo ones whilst they were on offer. it's about as long as the gusset in my knickers but not as wide. now i'm paranoid i have an extra large foof :o

love to you all x x
