And I hope you told him to stop being rational and hurry up and finish making the yummy pancakes :p

LOL, I'm lucky to be married to a multi-tasker so he was whisking and talking at the same time! :p They were yummy too, feel a bit fat now though as I had 4! :o

We are having pancakes tomorrow because I am working late and my OH will burn the house down if he tries to make them.
I am starving today and cannot stop eating. Having weird cramps as well. Stupid hormones are driving me insane.

    Oh and welcome back morocha.

Hi All, Hope you dont mind me popping back in to say hi and tell you my news :) Got a BFP 2 weeks ago whilst on holiday :) Had to get a digi and it read in spanish 1-2 weeks. Am trying not to get too excited as 3 mcs means I am a bit sceptical.

I gave up the soy and vit B6 and just saw what happened. I followed SMEP and obviously it worked this month.

I am 42 and have PCOS so there is hope for all you older ones too. I am hoping for a sticky this time.

Thanks for all your help especially the wonderful QQ

    Yay!

Negative OPK for me this pm, but still a reasonable amount of EWCM which is oddly encouraging as even though it is late for me, perhaps I am still in with a chance to ovulate this month. And if I got a smiley tomorrow (Wednesday) OH is back on Thursday so we would still have a chance of catching that egg. And he might have recovered from the marathon sessions we have been having since last Tuesday, under the mad impression I would ovulate as usual around Friday/Saturday of last week :)

Looking at the lines on the digi Ov stick they are much darker than the CBFM lines I have been getting so I suspect I have a dodgy batch of those. If I don't get a peak this month, I'll bin that box and start a new one I think. The lines on the Ov stick are both distinct, so hopefully that means my LH is rising and I might get a positive tomorrow or Thursday.

I also just picked up my Chinese herbal medicine which I am due to start tonight. They have warned me it tastes foul, so hope I can manage it. Apparently if I can't they can make it into capsules but it is more effective if taken warm in liquid form, so they like you to try it that way first. Next acupuncture session is on Friday.

My MIL is in hospital again, but this time I have work, so BIL is taking care of her for a change. Wish I was there, but it can't be helped:(
:( Was it planned admittance, or an emergency admittance?

so whilst i will still continue to follow this thread, IRL ttc will be on the back burner and getting in shape will be my main focus. i've decided that in the 22 weeks until my birthday i want to lose around 3 stone which will put my bmi into the low 30s.

...and if a side effect of my losing weight is that i do get pregnant, i'll still carry on at the gym and eating right as then i'd be making sure that two people stay healthy :) x x
:T Sounds like a good plan to me! :) Good luck with it.

Congratulations jules :T All the best for a happy & healthy 9months and beyond! :D

Still feeling really sick and horrible and not helped by mum who doesnt know i am ttc saying that my symptoms are similar to Sil who is pregnant and people and work asking whether I could be pregnant. Sure it is a tummy bug and as I got bfn on Friday and af on Saturday so whatever it is it is not because I am pregnant. Horrible feeling sick all the time though and trying to eat little and often and drink peppermint tea but still feeling crappy, will be a week tomorrow :(

His operation wasn't successful so we are back at the doctors on the 5th March:(
What was the op for, if you don't mind me asking?
I'm a bit worried what will happen when we go back to the doctors, it will one year at the beg of April that we started to TTC, how will I find the time to go for all those tests? Unfortunately I'm not one of those who can call sick without a reason and as my boss is never here, I always need to be here:(. Wouldn't be lovely to get appointments for Saturdays? My gp is open 7 days a week and it's a lifesaver but my gp won't be able to sort everything out for me:(.
Don't get ahead of yourself too much. There's time between now and April.

As for working around "all those tests":
If the GP is running the show with tests, then it's usually a case of a couple of blood tests on relevant days (labs can usually do it first thing before work, or on lunch breaks), a swab test for STIs for you (during the GP appointment, or when you arrange with the nurse) maybe a SA for DH, and maybe a scan for you (depends on your local department when that would be arranged for). You would get fair warning of appointments, and you can always rearrange to more suitable times, you just might have to wait longer to get them all done with.

If it's an appointment with the FS you wait on, it'll be a little bit more difficult, but the same sort of routine.

Usually it's a case of getting the balance right for you, between getting answers quicker (as quick as the NHS allow ;)) and working around your work/personal life.

Either way, don't stress yourself out about it, it doesn't help.:o

((((hugs)))) 2ba3c, hope you're okay? are you still testing tomorrow? I was thinking I would join you if you were - I've got the whole day to myself and a bfn will stop my imagination getting too carried away!

    Hi Lemon,

    Thanks!

I probably wont now, to be honest. I sadly know what's coming (AF) and my new cheapie tests haven't arrive yet either!

Plus I have an interview tomorrow and seeing that BFN will just ruin my mood.

BUT you totally should! In fact I'll log on tomorrow from the train to check! :D

Good luck in your interview! And good luck testing lemon melon :)

We had ready made pancakes with sugar and lemon and he had golden syrup. Been to the gym too so don't feel guilty about them :)

Think I might of ovulated so going to ditch the cough syrup when this bottle's done, didn't seem to do much for me although today there was lots of lotiony stuff so lord knows lol

Also my nips are sensitive today, keep giving myself a cheap thrill when I accidentally brush them lol x x

I've been on the cough syrup this month - seemed to have loads of EWCM today.

It was only a cheapie chesty cough syrup from a pound shop.
