Vesper - did I read that right, you rehomed a rat? Are yousure you didn't mean to write dog/cat/hamsters ?!!!

Nicki - congrats on the peak. I got mine (unexpectedly) this morning too. CBFM buds! We'd tried to BD last night but it "didn't work {cough}" so I jumped OH this morning. First time we've ever DTD before work - quite a nice start to the day if I do say so myself! Have warned him I will be jumping him again tonight/tomorrow/Friday. But like TTC40 I've got a big hol coming up so not so fussed if it doesn't happen this month. Have also been put on antibiotics today so guess that'a another negative factor. Well, I keep telling myself that - I would be fussed!

    Rainy and miserable here.

My "taking charge of your fertility" book arrived yesterday and I started reading it last night. It was really quite interesting and so much now makes sense. Although I ended up realising that it just confirms I'm not ovulating which made me feel really depressed - not sure why because I already knew that.

    Still an interesting read though.

    Morning,

Af is out, cd5 for me.

BZ, OH had a septoplasty with turbinoplasty back in June and now a revision septoplasty. The reason for it because he doesn't get enough air in and his heart beats twice as fast while he is asleep than a normal person's. He went to the gp last March because he was snoring really badly and I couldn't sleep next to him, they referred him to a sleep clinic where the heart problem came up. Before doing anything about his heart, they referred him to an ENT specialist to see whether the airflow is the problem, he got diagnosed with deviated septum and oversized turbines. The first operation tackled the turbines and the back of the septum, the second the front of the septum. But now one of his nostrils collapsed so he gets less air in than before and his heart works even harder. The next option is a complete rhinoplasty than we can go back to the cardiologist. He is 34 but he is under high risk of getting heart attacks so he needs to sort this out ASAP.

Thankfully I can go with him for the next appointment, my boss said it was fine and not to worry. I'm so glad.

    Nicki, fingers cross for ovulating!

    Lemonmelon, hugs.

Birdie, I can eat 4 pancakes easily if they are the right size. I love mine with cinnamon and sugar, nom,nom...

    i have EWCM :) :j
guna BD tonight but getting to do it tomorrow will be a miracle as i have to stay to help with the Budget Council Meeting so will be in work until at least half ten :( boss has said we can come in late but duno if he means 'whenever' or 'before core time starts at ten' so if i go with the latter it's still a 12.5 hour which will make me pout lol

DH has his review today and we're hoping he gets the green light for promotion so whilst we have little money we might be celebrating tonight with a nice meal :)

    Hi Lemon,

    Thanks!

I probably wont now, to be honest. I sadly know what's coming (AF) and my new cheapie tests haven't arrive yet either!

Plus I have an interview tomorrow and seeing that BFN will just ruin my mood.

BUT you totally should! In fact I'll log on tomorrow from the train to check! :D

    glglglglg

Good luck for the interview!!:T you deserve to get it after that last job, if you can even call it that!

Birdie how on earth can you eat 4 pancakes, OH has just made me some as I've just got in from work, and I feel sick after 3.

In my defence they weren't very big! :o I can't lift the big pan with one hand to toss them so we use a little one and just make more :p

    Hugs for AF Sammy :(

I cant flip with one hand either its too heavy, we still use the big pan though - I just use both hands. One flipped perfectly, but another ended up half on the mixing bowl!

I ate one pancake with the kids I look after as I made them for them, and then came home and made more for me and DH. I think I ate 2 then, and then a tiny one made up of the scraps. And we just had a few chinese spring rolls beforehand as a sort of small dinner. Then I did feel a bit sick!

I love pancakes though, definitely going to start having them more than once a year!

I start my new office job next week, so will be able to count down the months to start ttcing again! :T Although I think I ov either yesterday or Sunday which makes this my officially longest cycle ever, so not happy about that.

    Hi all,

HUGE temp dip below cover line and every sign AF is here - Boo. I was feeling OKish about it this morning, because my temps had shown it was on it's way - but feeling very tearful now about it all.

Mostly because we are having to cancel a weekend in Barcelona we had planned for my birthday weekend in 2 weeks, because of my job loss :( Feel super duper sorry for myself at the moment.

As for the Interview this morning, I felt didn't go all that well. I'm usually pretty good at interviews and manage to display my passion for it, and be pretty articulate, but today, for some reason the words, I couldn't get out.

ALSO, without giving too much of who it was with, away - it was for a huge company who started the interview wanting me to taste their product and, I-er, don't like it! :D Not a good omen eh! I really do like their beliefs and mission statement though! Heh!

The irony of it was't lost me on this morning, tried to not burst into giggles during the 'tasting' - I had to explain I didn't like it and had never had it before and just smell it, without gagging.
