Have you had acupuncture? For fertility or otherwise?

My midwife friend recommended it to me and I dont know if I recall correctly you having it?

Where does one go to find someone good?!

I had my first session on Friday, and have signed up for a course of 12 sessions, one per week. I have no idea whether the person I am using is any good or not! Didn't find them through personal recommendation, just had walked past their clinic many times and decided to drop in and talk to them, and things went from there.

This is the place I went to http://www.senhealth.com/en. It's close to Liverpool St station. I don't know if that is easy to get to for you, you are in Lewisham or thereabouts aren't you?

    Hi all.

    Congrats to bfps.

I've been lurking but not posting much as not much happening?

I just need a bit of a vent and nobody irl understands. It's another case of pregnancy envy! There's a girl at work who I know is ttc and although she's yet to announce it I'm almost certain she's pg.

I feel so anxious about it. It's a small place and there'll be no escaping from every single stage of her pregnancy and I don't think I can take it. The due date for my lost baby is approaching quickly and I really hoped to be pg again by then and it's just not going to happen.

What a horrible feeling. It's got me dreading work. Usually I'm a very rational person but I just want to be a mum so so much that it's taking over my whole life.

Sorry to be negative. This pre ov part of cycle is always hard for me.

    Right. Come on now. PMA.

    This cycle is mine!

That's really near my work actually, I might drop in. How was the acupuncture? Obviously you probably don't know if it works yet - but was it at least relaxing?

I love reflexology, I wonder would they do a reflexology/acupuncture mix.

It was surprisingly relaxing. When he put the needles in, it was like an elastic band twanging quickly and then I only really felt two of the needles when they were in - one in my hand was quite uncomfortable, and the other in my leg I was just aware of. The others I couldn't tell were still in. He also put a heat lamp on my tummy which was very relaxing and soothing. I did feel quite good for the rest of the day too, and am quite looking forward to the next one on Friday.

Don't know if you know where it is? It's in Spitalfields covered market, on that little stretch of shops which ends with the Giraffe restaurant. Seems very clean and smart from what I've seen.

I know it well - opposite the benefit cosmetic shop! That's not quite as close as I thought, but worth a look. I'll drop by. Thanks

Yes! I popped in there afterwards for an eyelash tint as it happens.

Well, got a positive on OPK this morning. OH is overseas until tomorrow night.

I think I will get him to call the hospital to see if the appointment for SA can be moved from Monday to the end of next week. If it can't be moved then we will stick with the appt we have got & not BD tomorrow when he gets back (you can't have sex for 4 days before the SA).

If the appt can be moved, like Nicki I'll be hoping for a slow egg.

7 days left this month for testing - hoping we can finish the month with the 1 a day BFPs we started with!
